“And the
Lord said unto Cain, why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
If thou
doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? And if thou doest not well, sin lieth
at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. ”

Topic: The Burden of Sin in Relation to
Divine Connection
Introduction: As the world approaches
the close of the age, it has become increasingly necessary to address the real
problem of mankind and the world from the perspective of the Creator of the
universe. The best person to fit this place is the Hebrew God known as Elohiym
in the Hebrew Bible translation given to us today. He is also known as Yaweh.
From the bible, we learn that Sin is disobedience to the creator of the
universe. He has a Son as shown to us in the bible in Prov.8:24-25. He declared
Him in Matthew 3:17 and confirmed His declaration in Mark 9:7. Apostle Paul
referred to Him as the wisdom and power of God – Elohym.
The
beginning:
We are taught in the Hebrew Bible to which I adhere with all of my heart that
in the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. From this we
understand that there were more than one heaven and only one earth. The
situation of the Earth at this time was that it was formless and void and that
darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God known to the
Hebrews as Ruach Elohym moved upon the face of the deep and God said; let there
be light and there was light. Then He proceeded to create everything we see on
earth today and set things in place the way they should be.
The sixth
day: On
this day, Elohym created man in his image and after His likeness. He made them
male and female and blessed them and empowered them to rule over the earth. He
specified the ambit of their influence thus: the birds of the air, the cattle,
all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. Then
God blessed them and told them to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth,
subdue it and have dominion over the listed items in verse 26.
The commandment: Then in Genesis 2, we
see the incidence of God creating a body for man in this world that enabled the
man to live on earth. This is what Apostle Peter calls His earth suit. We are
told here that He formed man from the dust of the earth and breath into His
nostrils; the breath of life and man became a living soul. The Hebrew Bible
calls man Adam. Then He proceeded to bring into physical manifestation all that
He had created in the spirit by forming them.
Then He planted a garden in Eden and provided everything in it and
placed man there and commanded him to dress and keep the Garden. Then he
commanded man to eat of every fruit of the trees of the garden but of the fruit
of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil he was not allowed to eat because
on the day that he eats of it, he was surely going to die. See Gen.2:15-17
