Welcome to the month of June 2017: Our Month of Glory

Welcome to the month of June 2017: Our Month of Glory
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee and His glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”… Isa.60:1-3; “I have glorified thee on earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” Jn.17:4
I welcome you precious family to the month of June 2017: Our Month of GLORY!!! From our text scriptures above which the Lord gave to me, it is evident that in the midst of the darkness of this world God wants us to sing a new and better song.
Since the beginning of this year of our Rehoboth, we have been seeing the good hand of the Lord upon our lives. We have enjoyed limitless divine protection and favour. The Lord has blessed His Church and given goals and graciously enabled us to accomplish all of them in spite of the outrage of the devil and all of his agents. He has gone ahead to prove His word for the year in our lives by causing us to experience the expansion of his work here in our Badagry Center when he made more room for us this year with His miraculous hand. Time will fail me to list all of His many blessings He has caused our eyes to see and our hands to handle of His goodness in this year of Rehoboth. Now in the midst of the year, He is bringing us into a place where we can celebrate Him further with the first year anniversary of our Badagry Center of Kingdom Joint Heirs Family Churches in spite of the envy and outrages of the wicked against the work. We have the privilege of graduating the third batch of the Bible School students through our Nehemiah project: a wisdom God gave us for raising disciples for him within a reasonable time for this end time harvest.
To the glory of God, through this project, a lot of light has come concerning the hearts of men and the struggles of the gates of hell against any work of God on earth. Above all these, it has also become even more evident that indeed the Lord would build His Church and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. We saw the visible hand of God in frustrating all the tokens of liars in this place and making diviners mad for our sake. We have also experienced the ability of the Lord to fulfill His word: “Touch Not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.” Indeed, God has been faithful this first half of the year. He has also caused us to see that He is indeed a prayer answering God. Humorously, our Badagry Center was accused of being responsible for shutting down an occultic institution in a location not far from the Church because of our prayers. When I first heard this, I was amused because I was wondering how long it would take the wicked to realize that the earth is indeed the Lord’s and the fullness thereof!
Today, as we begin another month, we do so rejoicing knowing that God has gone ahead of us to prove His word to us even before declaring it that it shall be our month of Glory. The word “Glory” is from a Hebrew word which carries the meaning of the manifested presence of God. Another translation of the word indicates that Glory refers to all that God is and has. It is what makes God, God and his intention is to let us demonstrate him on earth as we are made in His image and after His likeness.  In the word of God, He is described as dwelling in the light which to which mortal man cannot approach. His glory is said to be brighter than the brightness of the sun in its fullness. His word is from everlasting to everlasting. In his glory, there can be no corruption like; sickness, death, disease, fear, failure and the like. His intention for us now is that we carry His presence in such a way that anyone seeking to know God’s address on earth would immediately recognize it when they find us.
As the world gravitates more and more towards darkness, we are supposed to rejoice because this situation makes the distinction between light and darkness more evident than before. Our glory shall become more obvious to those in darkness and they would therefore be drawn to us to find answers. This would be a glorious opportunity for us to get involved in the adventure of evangelism as never before because God would release more and more of His glory on us and cause it to be visible to all around. As this takes place, God in His faithfulness, would see to it that more people are harvested into His kingdom and the scripture would be fulfilled that the Kingdoms of this world has become the kingdom of our God and His Christ.
To this end, this month, we shall be looking at a theme I title: “POSITIONING FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!” we shall be exploring by the grace of God, what glory means and the different levels of Glory. We all understand for instance; that the moon has no light of its own; it depends on the light of the sun to glow. In the same way, we have no glory of our own. We depend on the glory of God to glow. Just as the positioning of the moon is to the sun, so is ours to God. This month, by the grace of God, we shall be looking at how we can position ourselves in relation to the Lord for the best of us to come forth. It is my heart felt prayer that as this month will be winding up, we would have become so well positioned in relation to God’s purpose and counsel for our lives that the world around us cannot deny that we are the real solution providers.
Someone may be reading this material right now that cannot begin to talk about positioning in relation to the Lord yet because you are not saved. You must first belong to God’s family before you can begin to talk about positioning. If you want to belong, you can start right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you will be born again:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name! Amen.

How to get and retain true riches

Messages for May 2017: Our Month of Our Wealthy Places
Message for Wednesday the 31st of May, 2017
Theme: Understanding our Wealthy Place in Christ
Topic: How to get and retain true riches
Introduction: As we draw the curtain on this month, we want to thank God for taking us through this great month safely. We do not take His miracle of keeping us for granted. The enemy has not changed in his mission to steal, kill and destroy but the Lord has kept us as the apple of His eyes in spite of the wickedness of the wicked and for this we are very grateful.
So far this month we have been looking at the truth that our wealthy place is packaged in The Blessing of the Lord and our text scripture has been Proverbs 10:22 to the effect that the blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow with it. Any right thinking person would know that if God makes rich with no sorrow attached, that is the kind of wealth we must long for rather than the mundane fleeting things on earth like money which cannot protect people from sorrow.
We would therefore be rounding off this great series by looking at how to access and retain true riches knowing that we already made a distinction between riches and true riches at the beginning of the month before concluding that true riches is encapsulated in The Blessing of the Lord.
What True riches are: I believe true riches are the intangible blessings of God that make the tangible blessings possible. For instance, for you to get abundance of money in God’s kingdom God’s way, God has to first give you the power to get wealth. This power is intangible because you cannot see it physically but it has the ability to make the tangible resource called money possible for you and you can have it in abundance. In fact it is God’s pleasure to give it to you because he said so. See Lk.12:29-33; 16:11 and Deu.8:18. In our text scripture here, God is showing us that when we seek Him first we will have the Kingdom of God at His instance. This is huge because control of the kingdom grants us automatic access into the riches of God which are far superior to that of this world and has the ability to make nonsense of the riches of this world. Furthermore, the power to get wealth must precede wealth and when it is coming from God, it gives you more than money. It gives you other intangible resources and the mind to mine them into concrete physical existence.
Steps to accessing and retaining wealth God’s way: In Lk.16:11, the Lord made a contrast between money and true riches showing us that the possession of money is not really true riches. We have also seen that true riches are encapsulated in the blessing of the Lord. Therefore, let us now see how to access true riches. I will make a list of steps we can take to access true riches here:
1.     The new birth experience: This reunites us back to our maker who is our source so that the glory with which we were originally created would be restored back to us. When this happens, we become potential candidates for the true riches. I say potential because what you get in the kingdom is choice determined. For instance if you get saved and choose to be carnal instead of spiritual, you will suffer the same thing that the world suffers because to be carnally minded is death – Rm.8:6-8. See Rm.6:23; 1Cor.15:22; Jn.5:24 and Jn.3:16-19.
2.     The infilling with the Holy Spirit: This is the most important experience to seek after the New Birth because it is the Holy Spirit that is the grace of God on earth to take care of all our spiritual needs. In Jn.14:23 and 26; 16:13; Rm.8:26 and 1Jn.2:26, we are told by the Lord that when the Holy Spirit comes, He would do the following things for us:
§  Guide us into all truths: There are many things we need to know and do to get into the true riches of God which we cannot know and do naturally, but the Holy Spirit will guide us into them as He helps us to make the right choices. See Ps.25:12
§  Show us things to come: With the Holy Spirit in our lives, access of familiar spirits and witches into our lives and destiny becomes blocked to them and we enjoy the liberty of walking in the truth of the word of God and enjoying the riches of the graces of God unhindered.
§  Tell us the mind of God all the time: Through the Holy Spirit, we can know the mind of God at any given time so that we can walk in the perfect will of God all the time. This would really protect us from making bad choices some of which could result in devastating consequences. See Ps.32:8
§  Help us to pray the perfect will of God and thus be spiritual: We learn from Rom.8:26 that if we do not know what to pray as we ought, the Holy Spirit will make intercession for us in groaning which cannot be uttered in articulate speech. This is what it means to pray in the spirit or in other tongues. See 1Cor.14:14
§  Keep company with us and thus eliminating loneliness: When we pay the price of obedience to God’s word, we are rewarded with divine presence. His presence with us has the ability to eliminate every feeling of loneliness from our lives. Should we need any kind of human company, He has the ability to bring them to us as He did for Adam. See Jn.14:23 and Gen.2:18; 21-23.
§  Teaches us every spiritual thing we need to know: See 2Cor.2:12-13 where we learn that the Spirit we have received enables God to teach us spiritual truths which in turn gives us access into the things that God has freely given to us.
3.     Seek the wisdom of God: The wisdom of God will help you to get and retain the true riches. This is why we are told by the author of Proverbs in Prov.4:7 that wisdom is the principal thing we must get and when we are at it; we must also get understanding because they go hand in hand. Whereas wisdom will enable you to correctly apply knowledge, understanding will help you retain it because wisdom is the fear of the Lord while understanding is the departure from iniquity. See Job.28:28; Prov.8:1, 10-21 and Mt.7:23-27. Those who seek the wisdom of God would long for the word of God, read it, meditate on it and do it. This is what makes one wise unto salvation from all the evils of this world and beyond. See 2Tim.3:14-17.
I will draw the curtain on this month’s series with this simple truth. I believe we have all been enriched this month. May the word of the Lord increase more and more in us in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Meanwhile someone may be reading this that is yet to take the first step of salvation mentioned above. This is your glorious opportunity. You can do so right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you will be born again:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. The two sides of The Blessing – The Blessing and the Curse

Messages for May 2017: Our Month of Our Wealthy Places
Message for Sunday the 28th of May, 2017
Theme: Understanding our Wealthy Place in Christ
Topic: The two sides of The Blessing – The Blessing and the Curse
Introduction: Recently, a friend sent me a message on social media where in a video class, a minister of God tried to show how in recent times, the enemy has been trying to falsify the scriptures by removing consequences so as to promote lasciviousness in the Church. For instance in some modern translation of Romans 8:1, all you see is that there is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus. The second part of the equation is cleverly excluded. In the King James Version of the Bible, it reads in addition: “… who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.”
The above thought exemplifies the recent problem the world has been facing as a result of some in the Church [which is supposed to be the pillar and ground of truth]; manifesting traces of corruption which has resulted in unthinkable scandals all of which could have been avoided if people were taught the whole truth and encouraged to walk in them early enough.
This is why today; we are rounding off the series of this month with the above topic to the effect that blessing has an option called the curse and that one is either blessed or cursed. Also we want to show that to whichever side a person belongs is determined by the choices they make. See Deu.30:19 and Jos.24:15.
Choose one: the Blessing or the Curse? In Deu.30:19-20, we read: “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live:
That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for He is thy life and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord Sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give them.”
This is one text of scripture that clarifies the true definition of destiny. Destiny is a predetermined course of events determined by the choices we make.
Destiny is either a blessed one or an accursed one determined by our choices: The means for measuring what choice we are making all the time is the word of God. Our text scripture here brings it our clearly that God has set his word before us to choose either to do it or to not do it. He even went further to encourage us to choose to do it so we might have life or the blessing.
When Jesus came, He brought us eternal life which is the blessing and all we need to do to embrace eternal life is to believe on him and become His disciples and then we would know God and Jesus Christ in our experience. On the other hand, if we do not receive Him into our lives and live as His disciples, we would not be able to manifest the eternal life he talked about. See Jn.3:16; 5:24 and Rm.6:23.
As many as receive Jesus Christ are blessed and all who reject him, remain in the curse of death because in Adam, all have sinned and therefore condemned to death but in Christ we who once were dead are made alive through the redemption that comes through His blood. See Jn.3:16-21; 1Cor.15:22; Eph.1:7 and Col.1:14. Please note that in spite of all these that God has done for us, many are still lost even some Church attendees because they would not walk in His ways in spite of all His warnings. Sadly, some have paid attention to the lies of the enemy with which he seeks to slander God and deceive people into destruction as he did to Eve in Gen.3.
Examples of people who made the choice for the blessing in the word: Noah made the choice for the blessing and God found him righteous in a wicked generation and chose to spare him when He brought the flood on mankind. See Gen. 6:1-13; 17-18.
Abraham chose to serve God and walk in his ways in a generation where there was so much idolatry and rejection of the one true God through ignorance and satanic deceit. God gave Abraham an eternal legacy that has passed on to the entire world through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. See Gen12:1-4; Gal.3:16; 26-29 and Gal.4:28.
A good example of people having to make a destiny choice as we are looking at it based on the word of God is Jacob and Esau. These twins were in conflict from the womb. One of them had value for the blessing while the other had no value for it. The younger one who had value for the blessing inherited it while the elder one was busy trading his place for his temporary need to feed his stomach. Gen.25:29-37. Of them God later spoke through his servants the prophets and Apostle Paul thus: “Jacob have I loved and Esau have I hated”. I believe this is because of the choices they were to make and later made where the word of the Lord was concerned. See Mal.1:2-3 and Rm.9:13.
In the New Testament, we see a great example of this in Judas Iscariot who made the bad destiny choice of trading his place for pecuniary interests and could no longer repent and Peter the apostle who even when in weakness of the flesh denied the Lord had a chance to come back and fulfill his destiny because of the different choices they made. See Jn.26:14-16; Lk.22:31-34; Jn.21:14-19 and Mt.27:3-5.
The difference between Peter and Judas Iscariot was their heart. Peter went to Jesus with love for the master to the point he vowed to go to prison with him. He did not realize at this point that he had no power to do so. Eventually he got another chance. Judas Iscariot on the other hand went to the Lord for business. The result is that he traded his master’s life for pecuniary interests. At the end of the day, he committed suicide because he could not bear people realizing that he was a hypocrite all the while.
Someone may be reading this now that is yet to enter into the blessing that Jesus Christ gave His life for us to enter. Now you know that you can make a choice for the blessing and wish to do so right away. Today is your day; you can do so right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you will be born again and enter into the will of God:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. The Word of the Blessing

Messages for May 2017: Our Month of Our Wealthy Places
Message for Sunday the 21st of May, 2017
Theme: Understanding our Wealthy Place in Christ
Topic: The Word of the Blessing
Introduction: When God first communicated the Blessing to man, He established it by speech. In Gen.1:28, we read that God blessed man and said: “… be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue and have dominion…”
When He was to restore man after the flood, he did the same thing again when he said to Noah: “and thou be thou fruitful and multiply etc…” The time God called and blessed Abraham, he also communicated the blessing by words.
This is why I call the vehicle for releasing and enforcing the Blessing, the vehicle of words. Today, we are therefore going to be looking at the word of the Blessing and how we can take advantage of it to fulfill our destinies in the covenant of grace.
The word of THE BLESSING is a total package: The word of The Blessing has been packaged by God in book form just like our statutory laws are done around the world today. This book is called THE BIBLE. It is segmented into two parts namely The OLD TESTAMENT and The NEW TESTAMENT. It is a combination of history and God’s visitation to man and his instructions on how man ought to live in the world He has graciously made for man. This took a cumulative period of about one thousand seven hundred years to put together. From the bible you will find the answer to every question about man and be able to meet all of man’s needs thereby.
The word of the blessing is a testament and not a covenant alone: The word is known as a testament because the Old and the New Testament became eternally enforceable after the death of the testator – God’s only begotten Son who is also God. A testament is a will. This is what makes the Bible the will of God. A will can only be really enforced after the death of the testator. Also, a testament has the elements of covenants in it where the beneficiaries are required to meet some demands before they can enjoy the benefits of the will. See Gen.15:7-8 and compare with Acts 4:8-14 and Heb.9:16-17.
THE WORD OF THE BLESSING can be compressed into the blessing of fruitfulness, Prosperity and health.
Fruitfulness: Gen.1:28; 9:1; 21:1-8; 28:1-14; Deu.7:14; Jn.15:1-5, 8 and 16.
Prosperity: Deu.8:18 and 3Jn.1:2
Health and healing: Ex.23:25-26 and 1Pet.2:24.
Please let the entire Church read out loud all these words in reference in faith for their divine implementations. See Mk.11:23 and Rm.10:9-11.
Finally, you would observe that the word of the testament quoted above, meet all the needs of man there could ever be. It takes care of protection, provision, health etc.
Someone may be reading this now who is yet to enter into the blessing that Jesus Christ gave His life for us to enter; today is your day, you can do so right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you will be born again and enter into the will of God:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. The Foundation of True riches

Messages for May 2017: Our Month of Our Wealthy Places
Message for Sunday the 14th of May, 2017
Theme: Understanding our Wealthy Place in Christ
Topic: The Foundation of True riches
Introduction: So many in the body of Christ admire the glamour and glory that go with those who have found their wealthy place in Christ and have learnt how to use it to bring heaven down to earth for their benefits and that of those who follow them. They want it and have longed to have it for years without success yet they live in constant disappointment because they have chosen to embrace the acts of God without paying attention to the ways of God that actually create the Acts of God. Today we shall be showing us the foundation of true riches and I believe that by the end of this message, we wound have a grip of God’s way that make the act many so admire without receiving to happen.
The foundation of true riches is THE BLESSING: We are told in Prov. 10:22 that THE BLESSING of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow with it. This is the first thing God gave to man that enabled him to be in charge of the world before his fall in Genesis. See Gen.1:26-28 and Gen.3
What is THE BLESSING of the Lord?
1.     THE BLESSING of The Lord is the wall God builds around you that takes care of you and protects you. This is what really irritated the devil about Job. See Job 1:9-10. When God protects you, He keeps what He has given you as well. See Job 22:21-28.
2.     THE BLESSING is the benefit of man in any covenant cut with God. The first time God’s Blessing was released on man in Gen.1:26-28 after God had declared His purpose for making man; he commanded them to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. The next time God released THE BLESSING on man through Noah and his seed in Gen.9:1-10, he said something similar to what he told Adam. As at this time, God even had removed the curse He brought on the ground for the sake of man. See Gen.8:20-21. This was the blessing of Noah and his offspring. Then finally, God blessed Abraham and his offspring in Gen.12:1-4. God not only made his blessing Trans generational, he declared the spread of the blessing to the entire human race through one seed of Abraham who later turned out to be The Lord Jesus Christ. See Gal.3:16 and Gal.3:9
We inherit THE BLESSING in Jesus Christ: In Gal.3:13-14 we are made to see how Jesus Christ in playing His role as the Messiah, won us the promise of the residence of the Spirit of God in us. Today, like the natural offspring of Abraham, we are partakers of the blessing. See also Rm.11:17.
The source of THE BLESSING of the Lord: Usually, the blessing is a product of the grace of God. It is when God takes a hold of a man and with the man’s cooperation, elevates him. God usually does this by revealing himself to the favoured man through his word. See Gen.12:1 and Matt.16:15-19.
The revealed word brings faith and with more revelation of that word, more faith until the word comes to pass and it is demonstrated in THE BLESSING of The LORD! See Rm.10:27 and Gal.3:9.
THE BLESSING of The LORD is the only cure for any kind of curse. Gal.3:13-14; Jn.10:10 and 1Jn.5:4.
THE BLESSING of The LORD is energized by the word – Ps.1:1-3; Jos.1:8; 1Tim.4:13-15 and Col.3:16 – the more of the word you allow to dwell in you, the more understanding you can have which in turn enables you to enjoy more of The Blessing of the Lord.
The word of God revealed to us empowers the anointing as the anointing is here only to fulfill the word of the father and the Son. See Jon.16:13. The anointing in turn is released to remove burdens of this world and destroy every yoke of satanic oppression and bring us to our wealthy place. See Isaiah 10:27 and 1Jn.2:27.
How to access THE BLESSING of The LORD: To access the blessing of the Lord we need to take the following two steps:
1.     Get saved: To be saved is to be delivered from the dominion of darkness and moved into the Kingdom of the Son of God where Jesus Christ is the King. In Jn.3:1-3 Jesus Christ puts it this way:  that except a man is born again of the water and of the Holy Spirit, he shall not see the Kingdom of God and neither shall he enter into it. To the glory of God, Jesus Christ has since made this possible through His death, burial and resurrection so that whoever believes on him is automatically delivered from Satan’s kingdom and translated into God’s kingdom. This is how we get saved. But to activate our salvation, we must openly declare what we believe and show it through water baptism into Christ. See Rm.3:23 and 6:23 also, 10:6-11.
2.     Become dedicated to God: Seek the Kingdom of God and the right way of living which is also the way of doing and being in the kingdom and the result is that the contents of THE BLESSING is given to you as additions. See Mt.6:33.
THE BLESSING of the Lord has a location: Abraham was called to relocate to an unknown destination. When he obeyed and relocated, the blessing became activated and today he is still a global phenomenon. See Gen.12.
We are also called to spiritually relocate before the blessing of Abraham can be activated in our lives. To relocate like we saw earlier, we have to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ with our hearts and declare our faiths with our mouth. See Rm.10:8 – 11; Col.1:13 and Jn.3:1-7.
Now take a stand: This is another opportunity to make a decision for the blessing today because if you are yet to make a decision for Christ this is your day. You can do so right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you would be born again and translated from the domain of darkness into the kingdom of God:

Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name! Amen.

What True riches are and how they come

Messages for May 2017: Our Month of Our Wealthy Places
Message for Sunday the 7th of May, 2017
Theme: Understanding our Wealthy Place in Christ
Topic: What True riches are and how they come
Introduction: In Lk.16:11, The Lord Jesus was teaching about faithfulness and He made this statement: “If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?” (my emphasis). From this text, it is evident that when God talks about riches, contrary to the misconception of many, money is not the true wealth or riches He is talking about. In fact in Deuteronomy 8:18 where the Lord talks about us remembering God in association with wealth, we are told that He gives us the power to get wealth. In other words, the power to get wealth is superior to wealth itself. So the rat race of life run by men does not only end them in frustration but makes the possession of true and lasting wealth a mirage to many of them! I believe God’s compassion is moved daily as he sees men whom He has created in his image and after his likeness reducing themselves to nothing for nothing. Sadly, many in the Church have brought themselves into bondage to the enemy in a bid to get ahead in this rat race because of a misunderstanding of what true riches are. So today we shall start by looking at what true riches are and how it comes.
What are true riches?  Contrary to what the world think and has passionately promoted through the media over the years since the fall of man from the glory of God, riches are not money or material possession even though they may be used to measure some aspect of riches. This is why the Lord talks about true riches in our text scripture as opposed to just riches. Also, riches are not fame and power. As a matter of fact, fame without God’s grace can result in one attracting all the wrong company whose only motive is to further their personal hidden agenda through the flattery of the famous until they are done with their victim. This explains why the evil woman or man would always hunt for the precious life. See Prov.6:26. Also riches is not the same thing as having political or financial power even though those things could prove the existence of true riches in a person’s life through God enabling them to unleash their potential.
True riches can best be described by God who is the author of our lives. I want to bring it out from the word of God by looking at several examples of people who were said to have prospered and why.
First from the example of Abraham, we see a man who encountered God and God took note of him enough to cut a covenant with him and made him the custodian of the world. See Gen.12:1-4 where God made a promise to Abraham and Gen.14:18-20. The covenant God cut with Abraham is called the Covenant of The Blessing. He reiterated this truth through the priest of the most high God Called Melchizedek when the priest blessed him and called him by inference the custodian of the world. God gave him land and riches to match his new status and in addition, gave him perpetuity and relevance forever. Thus Abraham became:
1.     The most reputed faithful man since the fall of Adam.
2.     Able to procreate through a barren wife in old age in fulfillment of the promise of God made to him twenty five years prior.
3.     The father of all that have faith. See Rm.4:17-21 and Gal.3:7-9.
4.     The father of a covenant people who became known as the children of Israel and his offspring are presently determining the political playout of the nations of the earth.
5.     He became a financially rich man. Gen.13:1-2.
6.     He had a military force which in spite of its small size was able to take on five nations and defeat them. Gen.14:1-17
Abraham was indeed and still is a great man whose greatness was rooted in his relationship with God.
The same could be said of Job who was described to be the greatest man in the east in his generation. He was described as having such a strong fear of God that God boasted of him to the devil which brought Job serious trials all of which he overcame and received divine restoration. In Job 29, Job disclosed the source of his greatness being the wisdom of God and the light of God by which he walked through the darkness of this world. See Job 1; 2:1-10; 29:1-25 and Job 42:12-17
In the New Testament, we see the example of the Lord Jesus Christ who started from the humble beginning of a carpenter ending up as the King of kings and Lord of lords and to him all power in heaven and on earth have been entrusted.  See Mt.28:18-20; Philippians 2:9-11 and Rev.19:11-16.
Apostle Paul found the Lord on the road to Damascus and became a custodian of the light in 2/3rd of the New Testament. See Acts 9 and 2Tim.4:6-8.
More examples like Joseph, Daniel, Peter etc abound in the bible which we may not speak of now for want of space and time, but we can read through our bibles to learn about them.
The sum of what we are saying here is that our wealthy place is in our relationship with God. When that relationship is sound, it gives birth to our wealthy places which include all what we benefit from this relationship like divine presence, godliness with contentment, peace and all the multiple graces of God we stand to benefit from God based on the depth of our relationship with God.
How True Riches come:  True riches are products of the wisdom of God. Access to the wisdom of God is found in the grace of God which is freely offered to us by God. See Prov.9:1-6; Eph.2:8-10. When we receive the grace of God, then the journey to walking in our wealthy places begin for us.
How to receive the grace of God: God’s riches are distributed to us through His graces. The grace of God is divine favour and divine ability to do and be what we cannot do and be naturally.
Favor happens when God treats you with preference. On the other hand divine ability to do what we cannot do naturally is first based on our choice for what God wants for us and our decision to drive our choices to their logical conclusions. For example we cannot naturally walk in the spirit because the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness to him. See 1Cor.2:13-14; Rm.8:5-9 and Gal.5:16-17.
The first of the grace of God everyone must receive in order to have access to all the graces of God is the grace to be saved. It is an invitation of God to mankind. We are told in 2Cor.5:18-19 that God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world to himself not imputing their trespasses against them. This is extreme grace. This is the grace for reconciliation which God has offered to us through the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. All we need to do to receive this grace is to believe and accept him as our Lord and Saviour.
Please if you are yet to make this great decision of receiving Salvation from God which can only come through receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, this is another opportunity for you. Should you want to take advantage of this opportunity, you can do so right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you will be born again:

Heavenly Father,

Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name! Amen.
