WELCOME TO MARCH 2015; OUR MONTH OF LIGHT

Recently, while having a conversation with the Lord and wondering about the confusion brewing among brethren in my country over the forthcoming election, I was a bit disturbed that we could not speak as one man in the spirit. In fact, I was insulted by a friend over the stance I took to the point that I decided to avoid posting any comment. Even a local missionary sent me a WhatsApp message to tell me how unspiritual I was and how spiritual he was because I forwarded a broadcast I received to him. I could go on and on in respect of this subject but for want of space and time.
However, the Lord settled my disturbance at this development when He told me that things are the way they are because of the level of light some believers walk in as opposed to others. Indeed when Jesus addressed himself as the son of God, the religious Jews wanted to stone him to death because to them, he equated himself with God. But Jesus Christ saw brighter than they all did because today, it is an undisputable truth that He is the light of the world and indeed the Son of God. It was at this point I began to pray to God that Let there be light because, people would do better with more light. For instance, a person who straps himself to death in the name of religion is blind and ignorant. If such persons were to be enlightened, they would see well enough to not do it.
When God was confronted with the challenge of recreating the world, the first step in his effort was to call forth light. Then every other thing fell into place. In this glorious month of light, we shall be given the opportunity of knowledge that would bring us out of every darkness and cause us to walk in the light of heaven.
In the book of John 1:1-5, we read:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”
Light as used here refers to the knowledge of God. When this is in place, the darkness of ignorance is destroyed and man is thus set free. This is why the Lord said in John 8:32 that the truth we know shall make us free. Thus your freedom from every kind of oppression is truth limited. The more truth you know from God’s word, the more freedom you will experience and the more progress you will make in advancing in life.
Remember, in Ps.119:130 we are made to understand that it is the entrance of God’s word that brings light thus light in our lives must be fed by the word of God. Secondly, the word of God is referred to in Ps.119:105 as a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. In other words, it is the means by which we gain direction in our journey through this world without confusion and failure of any kind.
When we receive the revelation of the truth in the mind of God, we would not have any confusion whatsoever about life and how to relate with God and people. This is so crucial in the days that we live in that we must meet the demands of heaven to win more people out of darkness into light. All humans are created for light and not darkness. Therefore, light is what we all must have a tendency for. Going after darkness would only lead to an abuse of life resulting in confusion. Therefore, this month, we shall be looking at the demands and benefits of light. The first demand of light however, is that you must belong to God’s family through the new birth experience. If you are yet to meet this demand, you can do so now by saying the following prayer out loud:

Father in Heaven,
I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Your word says in John 6:37 that you will not cast me out when I come to you. So I thank you that you will take me in.
You also said in Romans 10:9-10 that if I shall confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in my heart that you raised him from the dead, I shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe that he died for my sin on Calvary’s Cross and was raised from the dead for my justification and I confess him now as my Saviour and Lord.
I believe that I have now become your righteousness in Christ whom you made to be sin for me on Calvary’s Cross.
Thank you father that I am saved from this day in Jesus’s name!

WELCOME TO FEBRUARY 2015: OUR MONTH OF DIVINE FAVOUR Exod. 3:21, 12:36, Ps.5:12

We welcome you to February 2015 Our month of Divine Favour. This is indeed a good time to be favoured because many of us like the Children of Israel in our text scriptures have served and invested in slave masters like sickness, lack, deprivation and denial of what has been due to us for a long time. This month, God has decided to stop our oppressors and bring an end to our afflictions; this is why He has chosen to enlist this great key for our release.
The word divine means to emanate from God; favour on the other hand, means an advantage to the benefit of someone or something. Divine Favour is therefore God putting us in a position or giving us something we have not worked for ourselves.
In Exodus 3 we learnt that God gave Moses an assignment to lead Israel out of bondage to worship Him.  He explained the assignment in details and what the outcome would be for the Israelites, with a promise of divine favour.   Exodus 3:21 (NKJV) states "And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be, when you go, that you shall not go empty-handed."  This text discloses to us that when God is to bring about a release for a people especially that which is long overdue, He enlists this great key that cannot be denied. The reason for this is that no matter how hard you work in like or how skillful you are, if this ingredient of divine favour is missing, you will not go very far. Tendencies are that you are not likely to be adequately rewarded for your effort. However, when favour is in place, you tend to receive even more than is due to you!
In Exodus 12:36 (NKJV), we are told "And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians."  This indicates that favour is a gift given by God to anyone He pleases. In this case; God gave favour to the Israelites before their former slave masters to enhance their status and afterwards, they could no more be slaves! It is only God that can touch the heart of people to do what they didn't plan to do for us.
From this month, God would begin to influence all who should do the right thing to bring you to your place of promise in Jesus’ name!
For us to walk in Divine favour therefore, we have to understand what favour really means and how we can position ourselves in the scheme of God to benefit from this great key.
However, the first step is that we must belong to God by covenant just like the children of Israel were by the covenant God cut with Abraham. In these days however, the status of that covenant has been upgraded to the one God cut with His one and only Son Jesus Christ and this is actualized through the New Birth experience. If you have never made that decision to belong to God’s covenant people and you want to do so now, please join me by saying the following prayer out loud and you will become a child of God as God would only bless the righteous and compass him with favour as with a shield:

Welcome to January 2015: Our Month of Glory

As we celebrate another new entry into another year of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, tagged OUR YEAR OF DIVINE ESTABLISHMENTS; let me use this opportunity to welcome you and share with you what the Lord has told me about this month. In 1Cor.15:41, we are told:
“There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.”
Also, in Isaiah 43:7, we are told:
“Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.”
When we put these two scriptures together, we would understand that every one of us is unique in our glory or manifestations of our hidden abilities put there by God. The reason God puts these abilities in us is quite clear from our second text and that is for us to glorify Him. We are actually created, formed and made for the glory of God. If we go back to Genesis 1:26-28, we would see that God created man’s spirit and then in Genesis 2:7, He formed man’s body from the dust of the ground and over time, He makes men into what He wants them to become to the extent that man yields to him. This explains why, when He called His first disciples, Jesus Christ promised to make them fishers of men. The process by which He actualized this was through discipleship.
When the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished His mission on earth, He said these words to the father in his famous prayer in John 17:4:
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.”

Also, in his letter to the Church at Ephesus, Apostle Paul by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, told the Church in Ephesians 4:11-16 that the Lord gave us ministry gifts of men in the body of Christ set in offices like the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. The purpose of these gifts is to help build up the saints so that we can all come to full maturity as each one adds value or unleash their potential for the general edification of the body so that together we can grow up to become the bride that Jesus is going to return for. As he puts it in Ephesians 5:26-27, a Church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing but that it should be holy and without any blemish.
Before we list the points raised above, let us first understand that glory simply means praise or honour given to somebody or something because they have achieved something special. Again, it means praise and worship of God. It also means great beauty, and a special cause for pride, respect and honour.
When we put together out dictionary definition with the scripture analysis above, we would understand as follows:
1.     Glory is God’s desire for each of us. This is why Jesus Christ was able to endure the Cross. In Hebrews 12:2, we are told that he endured all he suffered at the Cross because of the glory to come and we have seen it above that the glory is a bride without wrinkle, spot and blemish but beautified with holiness.
2.     God actually made us to bring Him glory and this happens as we unleash out hidden abilities to become productive and bear spiritual, mental and physical fruits that would result in honor for us and Him.
3.     As God’s product, his name is at stake when we do not perform optimally. This is why He not only created us; He formed us and is responsible for making us.
4.     When Jesus finished His work, He said he had brought God glory by finishing the work God gave to him. In the same way, we must understand that after we are saved, we must find out the particular good work God has worked out for us to enter into as shown in Ephesians 2:10 and then depend on the Holy Spirit to help us do it. As we are faithful in doing it, we would end up bringing glory to God.
5.     When we make it our life mission to glorify God, we would fulfill our divine purpose and be glorified by God in return.
6.     Finally, to enable us fulfill our God given purpose, we must take full advantage of the fivefold ministry gifts in the body of Christ. However, before we can do this, we must understand what they are, why they are and how we can benefit from each ministry gift.

In light of these truths, this month we shall be looking at the fivefold ministry gifts and how we can take full advantage of them to attain to our maximum potential for the fulfillment of God’s purpose to glorify him.
As the year commences, this is a good time to make the greatest resolution of your life if you are yet to do so. That is to accept the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ for your Salvation and respond to His love by receiving Him as your Lord and Saviour. If you want to do so now, please say the following prayer out loud to God meaning it with all your heart and the Holy Spirit will take you up from there.

WELCOME TO THE YEAR 2015 OUR YEAR OF DIVINE ESTABLISHMENTS

The two key words here are DIVINE and ESTABLISHEMENTS. Divine has to do with that which originates from God. In other words, God’s plan for us in 2015 is to establish us. Establishments on the other hand is the noun of the word establish which for our divine purpose means to make stable or firm, to set in a place and make it stable there; to settle; to confirm. You would observe that establishment is in plural and this implies that the establishment God is bringing us to is complete as it would happen in every area of our lives and not some areas alone. In other words, this year, God has purposed to settle us spiritually, in our souls and bodies. Where foundations were wrong, the Lord would help us remove them and lay the right foundations so that we can build on immovable foundations for if the foundations be destroyed, we can do nothing.
In 1Peter 5:10, we are told:
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
Also, in the book of Ezekiel, 36:11, we see this prophecy:
“And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.”

From the above sure word of prophecy, it is evident that God does not want us to labour for nothing. We have been working hard and it is time for God to reward our hard work with His establishments. All the sacrifices we have made for a better future, all the labours we have invested in improving every area of our lives etc, have not gone unnoticed by the Lord. This is why in our first text scripture, we are told that after we have suffered a while, the Lord would perfect us, establish, strengthen and settle us.
How is He going to do this? From the prophecy in Ezekiel quoted above, we are told that He will increase us numerically as a team, He would cause us to manifest His productivity in all we are and do and then He will settle us as He originally intended before many of us went astray. Now that we are returned to him, He will cause us to do better than at our beginnings. His intention is that we would recognize His leadership over our lives. This is awesome!
Sincerely, were it not for the rebellion of man, God would not really need to prove many things to us; we would naturally know them.
However, the natural man cannot receive that things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness to him neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. Therefore, if we must get the best of what God is set to do in our lives this year, spirituality cannot be compromised. The reason is that the prerequisites for divine establishments are faith and righteousness.

In the book of Isaiah 7:9, we are told that if we do not believe, we would not be established. So we must first believe that it is God’s purpose to establish us this year and then we must act out our faith by mixing it with the actions required of us. The bible says in Hebrews 4:2 that the word sent to them did not profit them not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. When we believe, we enter into God’s rest and are established like the man described in Psalm 112:7. We must also understand that we cannot please God without faith. See Heb.11:6.

The second prerequisite for divine establishment is righteousness. There is the imputed righteousness we receive at new birth which is the first step to divine establishments [2Cor.5:21, Rm.6:23]. However, the proof of our repentance is in our obedience to God afterwards. In John 14:23, Jesus said:
“If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”
From this text, it is evident that the proof that we have entered into the works that God has prepared for us from the foundation of the earth as revealed in Ephesians 2:10 is our consistent obedience to God’s command because of our affection for him in return for His affection for us. See Prov.12:3 & Isa.54:14.

When these two requirements of faith and righteousness are met, then nothing can stop our divine establishments in the year 2015. To help us attain to God’s standard, we shall be learning from His word about his kind of faith and how to exercise dominion over sin so that our righteous living would be a practical one.

Once again, I welcome you to 2015: Our year of Divine Establishments; God will establish you in every area of your life in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!!!

Welcome to the month of December; Our Month of Praise

As the year 2014; our year of fruitfulness and abundance comes to a head, it is a good time to recount the goodness of the Lord and to respond with praise because the bible says in Psalm 92:1-2 that it is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to the name of the Most High; to tell of His loving kindness in the morning and His faithfulness every night.
The morning of this year was about eleven months ago and we entered this year with great expectations and gratitude for the previous year. The Lord gave us a word for fruitfulness and abundance for this year and so far He has been faithful to His promise. He has lifted us beyond our wildest dreams and opened unimaginable doors to us. He has quenched out thirsts in many ways and wiped away many of our secret tears. He has opened doors of greatness for us that no man can shut. I could go on and on about His faithfulness; but time and space cannot accommodate my testimonies. Nations and hearts have opened to God through our testimonies and we have seen His good hand reflected in the productivity and abundance of grace and joy we have enjoyed.
With all these said, this month we want to respond to the Lord with PRAISE. It is indeed our month of praise. This month, we shall not only seek to understand praise better, we shall demonstrate it to our one and only Most High God and the Treasure we would always seek now and forever; the all wise God at whose beckoning the heavens and earth present themselves. The great I AM and our ever present help in time of need; we love you now and always. You will forever be the all wise, all knowing, awesome God and lover of our Hearts.

Welcome to September: Our Month of Plenty

“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.” Joel 2:21-27
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” 2Cor.9:8

As you travel from nation to nation, you would observe one common thread weaving through all the nations of the world and that is the fact that these are perilous times indeed. This situation presents in wars, violence, terrorism, economic hardships and the like. About four years ago, I was led to take the gospel to another nation. When I got to that nation, the currency of that nation competed so well with the USD then that it posed a little challenge to me financially. However, recently, I employed a staff there and placed him on an income that I calculated against my national currency and I discovered that in a period of less than nine months, their currency which was almost at par with mine, had dropped by about one hundred and thirty percent. I could immediately recognize an economic hazard and decided to pay the staff in my local currency instead to enable him match up to the inflation that follows things of this nature.

The gist of what I am talking about here is that the harsh conditions of the world in these times are real; however, the good news is that the plan of God for us now is even more real. This explains why the Lord has sent this word to us in this season. The truth is that in spite of all that is going on around us, God is saying we shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and bless the name of the Lord our God who has dealt wondrously with us and we shall not be ashamed. The reason for this is that God has the ability to make abundant provision available to us in spite of contrary circumstances. When Elijah declared a three and a half year famine against Israel for their idolatry in 1Kings 17, he was excluded from the harsh conditions by divine provision. In the same way, God has excluded us from the economic hardship of the present times by sending us this word of abundance.  This is why the month of September has been prophetically given to us by God as our month of plenty. The word plenty means full or adequate supply; enough to spare; sufficiency, abundant productiveness of the earth; ample supply of human wants; abundance etc. It also means a full supply, as much as necessary, a large amount or extent etc.
Someone is reading this article now and asking how this can be when they are actually experiencing the biting effects of the harsh conditions on earth. I must quickly let you understand that whereas God has put in place every resource required for this word to be fulfilled in our lives, plenty is governed by laws. If these laws are obeyed, you will experience the word otherwise, it would be a mere story to you. One truth about laws is that they are effective whether we know of them and act on them or not. This is why it is said that ignorance of the law is no excuse. If you know the laws governing plenty and apply them in your life, you shall not lack; the present global economic crises notwithstanding. On the other hand, whether you know the laws or not, if you do not apply them, you will lack. This is how laws work.
To this end, this month, we shall be looking at the laws regulating provision so that the keys to unlocking the plenty that God is telling us about this season would be delivered to us and as we engage those keys in our individual lives, plenty would attend to us.
In summation, I must quickly say here that the catalyst that makes these laws work is acquaintance with God. In Job 22:21-28, we are made to understand that we must first reconcile with God from our sinful ways and then embrace a covenant walk with God for us to pray to be heard by God and then as we walk in obedience to Him, we shall be enlightened and be enriched with plenty and even begin to reign with him as we can now make decrees that would be established and enjoy constant divine guidance. If you are yet to make this acquaintance, you are only a prayer away from doing so; you can do so now by saying the prayer below and you will become born again and be entitled to access to the keys that can unlock plenty to you beginning from now:
HEAVENLY FATHER,
HAVE MERCY ON ME A SINNER. I BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR ME ON CALVARY’S CROSS AND THAT YOU RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD FOR MY JUSTIFICATION. I HEREBY DECLARE JESUS CHRIST TO BE THE SAVIOUR AND LORD OF MY LIFE FROM THIS DAY ON AND FOREVER. THANK YOU FATHER FOR HEARING ME AND INCLUDING MY NAME IN THE LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
AMEN!!!
