Welcome to the month of May 2019: Our Month of Rejoicing

Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy words were unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart, for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.Jer.15:16
Beloved family, I welcome you to the month of May 2019 which has graciously been named by the Lord to us as our month of Rejoicing. From our text scripture above, we can glean two things namely: first we must make a search to find the words of God. Secondly, when we find them, we have to eat them. The result of finding and eating the words of God is the joy and rejoicing of our hearts because we are called by the name of the Lord God of hosts. In other words, when God reveals His word to us based on our sincere quest, the result is that He can arise for us as the Lord of Hosts.
In the book of Joshua, when Israel was to take possession of the Land that the Lord gave to them after a period of forty years delay, the Lord appeared to them as the Lord of Hosts. Let us see the place in the book of Joshua.
“… And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua…” Jos.5:13-15
From this text, we can see that preceding the rejoicing of the children of Israel, the Lord had to appear to Joshua to give him specific commands that would enable him guide the children of Israel to victory. The result was that they were able to take Jericho. Sadly however, when they attempted to take Ai, they failed because of sin in their camp committed by one of them and not Joshua. They cast lot until they got to know that there was theft of the holy thing and when they knew who committed the theft, all Israel stoned the thief and his entire family to death after they got him to confess.
Following this, Israel entered into a season of rejoicing as they began to hear the voice of the Lord continually until they were able to take the Land that the Lord God gave to them.
This month, God is set to reveal to us his great and precious promises in abundance and also show us how we can realize them in our lives. Further, we are also required to submit to him to position ourselves to learn of Him to enable us find rest for our souls. When we find rest for our souls, it is reflected in joy and rejoicing proving we actually found God’s word and ate them. Also, in John 15:11, the Lord told His disciples that he told them the things He told them so that His joy might remain in them and that their joy might be full. Thus the more we hear from the Lord, the more His Joy would remain in us and the more joyful we would become. As a matter of fact, the word tells us in 1Pet.1:8 that even though we have not seen the Lord, we rejoice with joy unspeakable full of glory.
Thus this month, by the grace of God, we shall be looking at messages that have to do with hearing the voice of God and rejoicing. I believe these words would activate our ability to rejoice in spite of the adversities surrounding us at this time.
Meanwhile, someone may be reading this blog now that is yet to know the Lord to the point of being led by His Spirit and rejoicing in His grace. If you are that person and desire this grace, please say the following prayer out loud in faith and you will be born again and start walking in the newness of life:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan plus his unfruitful works of darkness and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Welcome to the month of April 2019: Our Month of Mountain Moving Faith

“And Jesus Said unto them, because of your unbelief: If you have faith as a grain of Mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place and it shall remove: and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”Mt.17:20
Divine Favour greetings family, I welcome you to this great month of April which the Lord has graciously declared to us to be our month of Mountain Moving Faith. The times have come upon us now when the faith of God in our lives would be tested more than ever before. However, this time around it is not any kind of faith that would be tested as much as our faith for genuine affection for God. As a matter of fact, this is one thing that cannot be faked. The reason is that the only authentic means of testing the heart of man is God Himself. No faith can actually move any mountain in this way that is not rooted in a genuine affection for God.
As the end of the age comes upon us, it behoves the Church of Jesus Christ on earth right now to clearly define where we really stand with God. Any sincere believer in the Lord Jesus Christ at this time will begin to seriously question our real motives for serving the Lord. Over time in our walk with God, we have been blessed with exceeding great and precious promises that would enable us to become partakers of divine nature. [2Pet.1:4 and 1Jn.2:15-17]. The question is to what extent are we taking advantage of these kind of promises? Are we in God’s service in His kingdom for our love for him or for the blessings of the mundane? Please do not think it strange if you are currently facing unexplainable trials. God is currently sifting between the wheat and tares in the Kingdom of God. For you who is genuinely looking forward to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, this is what the Apostle Paul says in Acts 14:22 “… that we must through much tribulation enter the Kingdom of God.” Further, Apostle James says that we should count it all joy when we fall into diverse temptations. See James 1. Also, look at 1Pet.1:1-25 in your personal studies.
Thus the kind of faith that would enable the saints of God overcome at this time is actually the Mountain moving faith. Every faith you require for the mundane is easy compared to the faith required to maintain the standards of God. For instance, can you dare to stand out apart from others when the entire world wanders after the beast? [see Rev.13:3]
A look at the temptations of Jesus Christ at the Mount of Temptation by the devil in Mt.4:1-11 and Lk.4:1-13 discloses to us that the devil tried to entice the Lord to turn from the worship of God to Him to get the mundane instead of retaining the worship of God to receive eternal rewards. In these last days, many are trading eternal rewards for the mundane in the name of worshipping God. The question is who is really getting your worship? God or mammon. The Lord gives us a clue in Jn.6:19-25. This text will help us all the time to examine our motivation for doing anything with God. The truth is that you cannot get the best of both worlds. If God places a hand on all your material possessions today, will you let Him have it? Can you give up your all for His glory? If all that occupies you are things that will perish with use, then your faith is very questionable and if it is taken through this kind of test, it would fail and that is not what you want because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Can you give up your personal ambition and dreams of comfort for the Lord? It would take a mountain moving faith to do this.
The good news is that Mountain moving faith starts as a seed in us all and that seed is the word of God revealed to you. When you take the time to nurture the word, it would grow to the point where it would enable you to move any kind of mountain to the point where you can in true faith enter the kingdom of God. [Lk.4:11 and Mk.4:26-32]
To this end, we shall be looking at what the Holy Spirit will have us look at that would enable us grow in becoming more like the Lord Jesus Christ daily. Remember, the foundation of eternal life is Jesus Christ Himself. Any other motive for seeking God other than a true and sincere love for Him may disqualify you except you make the necessary adjustment within your given time. May the Lord find you ready for him as a spotless Church without spot or wrinkle when He comes. Remember we cannot inherit the kingdom of God by demonic means. The foundation of the gospel and the Kingdom of God is Christ Jesus; therefore remain connected to the vine. See Jn.15:1-5.
Someone is reading this blog right now that is yet to make the right decision. You may have been going to Church for years, yet you still engage warlocks and diviners to divine for you; I have bad news and good news for you. The bad news is that you are not saved as long as you are doing that; no matter what position you hold in any Church. The good news is that you have to get born again and make it an open thing because pretending about it would mean all the people you had misled would be your responsibility in which case you cannot truly be free. This gospel is not one big joke someone is pulling on everyone; it is real and the earlier we take responsibility, the better for us. If you want to take responsibility, you can start right away by getting saved by saying the following prayers and getting baptised immediately to identify with the Lord in His death, burial and resurrection so you can start walking in the newness of life. To do this, please say the following prayers out loud in faith:

Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan plus his unfruitful works of darkness and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Welcome to the month of March 2019: Our Month of the Newness of Life

Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life” Rm.6:4
Divine Favour greetings family, I welcome you to this great month of March which the Lord has graciously named for us: Our Month of Newness of life. As I meditated on this word of the month, it occurred to me that this may not be popular with many but this is what God wants.
Some years ago, I was sharing the visions and strategies the Lord has given me for running the ministry with a Bishop who I was drawn to through His book that I read. He listened intently and when I finished speaking, he responded by telling me that I had chosen the hard way but that this is what God wants. The fact that this is what God wants encourages me to go along that line more than any kind of motivator even though over time I have found what that Bishop said to be the truth.
Therefore in this month of March, I believe God wants all His children to make up their minds whether they want to prepare for the Lord’s return as His spotless bride without spot or wrinkle or they would rather be like the five foolish virgins of Matthew 25.
Sadly, an objective look at those professing to be followers of the Lord Jesus Christ today would disclose to us that some have even degenerated from being foolish to becoming the harlot of Revelation 17 and her daughters.
This month God is calling his Church to true repentance and faith. His return is imminent and His desire is to meet a glorious bride without spot or wrinkle. A look at our text scripture reveals to us that when we identify with the Lord Jesus Christ through baptism into His body, we thereby subscribe to die to the flesh and live in newness of life. We learn from         2Cor.5:17 that if anyone is in Jesus Christ, He is a new creation; old things are passed away and all things are become new. This is why Apostle Paul tells us in our text scripture that we should walk in the newness of life. The question is what is the newness of life? When Jesus came during His earthly ministry, He told us. In the book of John 15:1-16 while instructing His disciples on becoming all that the father wants them to be, He told them that if they abide in Him they would bear much fruit. Also, Apostle Paul teaches in Rm.7:4 that the purpose of our redemption is so that we would bear fruit to the father.
Further, from what the Lord taught in John 15 referred to above, we can draw the following truths:
1.     Jesus Christ is the true vine analogy.
2.     The father is the Gardener or vine dresser.
3.     We are the branches of the vine.
4.     If we fail to bear fruit, the father would cut us off from the vine.
5.     If we bear fruit, the father will prune us so that we may bear much fruit. I must warn you that this would be a tough process for you but it is the best.
6.     We cannot bear fruit except we abide in the vine because we have to depend on the sap from the vine to survive.
7.     When we abide in the vine, we would bear much fruit.
8.     If we abide in Him and His word abides in us, we shall ask what we will and He will give it to us.
9.     We did not choose the Lord, He chose us and ordained us to bear much fruit so that whatever we ask the father, He may give it to us.
A look at the above truths would disclose to us that the way to actually seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness is a commitment to fruit bearing. We know we are bearing fruit when our life style reflects the heart and character of the Lord Jesus Christ. The more like Jesus Christ we are in all our conduct, the more fruitful we really are. For ministers, your fruitfulness is not in the size of your congregation but in your quality of life and that of the members of the congregation you lead. When the Lord looks down from heaven, does He see a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle or he sees light and darkness coexisting in people? No wonder apostle Paul teaches that the people he has fed through the gospel are the proof of his apostleship in Christ. For the family, the Children reflect the apostleship of the parents over them and therefore show proof of fruitfulness or non-fruitfulness to the extent that they are like Christ Jesus.
Therefore this month, much as I will like to teach along these lines, I am still open to the Holy Spirit for any flexibility He may want me to demonstrate to do my work properly. So God willing, we shall be looking at God’s method of bearing fruit in His kingdom.
Meanwhile, someone is reading this blog that is yet to make a true commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and you are saying even though I have been going to Church, I cannot truly say I have lived like the Lord Jesus Christ; please I want to start doing so today. If that is you, I have good news for you; you can start right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you will commence your journey through true repentance:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan plus his unfruitful works of darkness and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord.
