Welcome to the month of February 2018: Our Month of Refreshing

Welcome to the month of February 2018: Our Month of Refreshing
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19.
In the presence of God there is fullness of joy and at his right hand are pleasures forevermore. Ps.16:11 - Paraphrased
As I write, what comes to mind is the experience a people pass through just after going through a battle that looks like it will never end; then all of a sudden, the battle is over in your favour!!! This is exactly what God is calling us into in this month of Refreshing. A closer look at our text scripture above would disclose to us that God’s mind is that when we get saved, after following Him for a while we should come to the realization that He wants us to relax in his presence and enjoy eternal life which is actually the experiential knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Love of God to us is really on display here by His word to us for this month of Refreshing. Come to look at it; we have spent the last month in a fast most of the time and now the Lord is telling us it is time for refreshing. You and I know that the time of fasting and prayer is a time to do warfare. Also understand that warfare is not really a pleasurable thing. The good thing about our case is that we are destined to be victorious so that we do not go into warfare like the enemy. The enemy goes into it in desperation hoping to distract us into making mistakes that he can take advantage of. But we are not ignorant of his devices because we are acting from a place of authority while the enemy merely depends on the same old tricks that the Holy Spirit exposes to us and delivers us from. See 2Cor.2:14; 1Tim.6:12; 2Cor.10:3-6; 2Cor.2:10-11 and 1Tim.6:12.
In addition, we serve a loving heavenly father who is gracious and merciful; slow to anger and abounding in loving kindness and tender mercies. A look at verse 19 of Acts 3 discloses to us that the refreshing we are going to enjoy prophetically this month, is coming from the presence of the Lord. We learn from the Psalmist in Ps.16:11 that there is fullness of joy in the presence of the Lord and with this come many other fringe benefits as we shall be seeing this month. As far as location is concerned, God’s place is heaven and He has brought heaven into our hearts through the Holy Spirit now resident in us. This is why when Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He told them to request that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In other words, what God has written in heaven concerning us is what we are requesting that he does for us now on earth. The good news here is that these truths have been written in the Bible and we have unhindered access to them by the gift and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
In light of the foregoing, this month of refreshing, we are going to be unpacking what God has put together for us in heaven and bringing them down to earth for our understanding. For instance, in heaven, there are no sicknesses; when we pray that his will be done on earth in our lives therefore, we are eliminating sickness from our lives thereby. In the same way, we can eliminate lack and want because they are not in heaven for us. We can eliminate fear because God does not have fear in heaven and He has even not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. We can go on and on endlessly about all the good things God wants to refresh is with but for want of time and space. This month therefore, we shall be looking at a series I title: “Refreshing from the Effects of Heat”.  The intent of this message is to show us what we mean every time we pray the Lord’s pattern of prayer when we ask him to do His will on earth as it is in heaven.
Meanwhile someone may be reading this message right now who cannot claim this privilege of God’s will being done on earth in their lives as it is in heaven. To such a person, I want to quickly say that His first will in heaven is that all men repent and come to the knowledge of the truth. See 1Tim.2:2-3. The Good news is that you can be saved right away so that you can have access to the refreshing of God as this is his heart for all men. If you want to make that decision today, please say the following prayer out loud in faith and you will be born again:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Understanding the nature of the word of God pt.3

Messages for January 2018: Our Month of The word of God
Message for Sunday 21st January, 2018
Theme: Exploring the Word of God
Topic: Understanding the nature of the word of God pt.3
Introduction: Last week we began to build on what we stated two weeks ago looking at the nature of the word of God. So far, we have just began to look at the truth that the word of God is creative. We laid the foundation and started to see that from the beginning, the first attribute of God revealed to us in the bible is that He is the creator.
We then began to see that He creates with his word and His Spirit. Then last week, we looked at conditioning the soul for creativity because since God delegated the authority to man, man has been the legitimate creator on earth. In Deu.30:19, we see God declaring the right to choose the path of man’s destiny to him. As a creator of choice therefore, man could choose to obey God and be fulfilled or choose otherwise and be lost.
What happens to the man who chooses God?
1.     He gets born again – 2Cor.5:17 & Jn.3:3-6.
2.     He lives the life God has ordained for him to live from the foundation of the world. Eph.2:10 & Mt.5:13-16
3.     He gets to fulfill his destiny and enjoy eternal bliss with God. See Jn.5:24 Rev.3:5; 12 & 21.
How man can create: The labor room for creation is called intercourse. Within the confines of God’s word, the physical creation of the bodies are done through the coming together of a man and his wife in intercourse. After the process of gestation is accomplished, a human is born. This is true of all the creation of God. The difference between man and animals is that man can exercise his right of choice more than animals. Any other kind of creation is done outside the body of man.
The womb of Creation: The soul is the womb of creation. Within the soul are the mind, the will and the emotions. The Spirit of man is like the male reproducer while the soul is like the female reproducer. This explains why as soon as a person gets born again, they must desire the sincere milk of the word of God so that their sprits can grow and mature enough to receive words from God or be led by the Holy Spirit with the contents which make up the seed for creation. [1Thess5:23; Jas.1:21 and Rm.12:2] Just as we become new creation by the incorruptible seed of the word of God, we can only create with His incorruptible seed. This explains why anything you create on the leading of the Holy Spirit is said to be born of God and whatever is born of God is destined to overcome the world without fail because the word of God is incorruptible, indestructible and inexhaustible. God is His word; He is love and love never fails – 1Jn.5:4; 1Pet.1:23 and 1Cor.13:8.
The human womb of creation never gets born again to be saved; it is saved when as an act of the human will, it is meekly submitted by the individual to God to conform to God’s word or thinking pattern enough to be able to agree with the spirit. When this happens over a long haul, it shows in the lifestyle of the person because they now think differently and do things differently. At this mature stage of faith, the individual can spiritually procreate. Any invention or ministry birthed this way, as long as there is continuity by the family; this includes the visioner and the team members, will endure before God as the sun. Such an institution or invention cannot be defeated by the enemy no matter how hard he tries because God who cannot fail is with them. See Jas.1:21; Rm.12:1-2; Gal.4:1 and 1Jn.5:4.
How the process of creation by man works: As we are all aware, man is born a sinner into this world. It does not matter who gives birth to him. The sin nature was inherited from Adam our fore father. As a result, man was cut off from God and therefore became perverted by Satan whose sin nature man inherited. This explains the wickedness in the world today. Man started to birth things for Satan because Satan was now the one giving man his evil seed to create; even when he does a good thing, it would be for the wrong reason. That is why circular humanism would always remain under the curse of God. All circular systems are in confusion today because man on his own or in agreement with Satan cannot do anything right.
But God solved this problem by becoming man and He died in our place to take care of God’s punishment on sin. Jesus Christ was killed, nailed to the Cross and all the sins written against us was nailed with him as he became one with sinful man when He hung on the cross. [Heb.9:14, 22; 10:6-10; Col.2:14-15] Then He went to hell and suffered for three days at the end of which time, God decided that the demands of justice for sin was fully met and He raised him from the dead. Because He was sinless, His sacrifice was accepted by God and since God found no fault with him, He raised Him from the dead forever so that anyone who will now identify with him can be born again by the workings of the Holy Spirit. [Acts 2:22-36 and Eph.1:19-23] Therefore with this background understanding we are going to look at the step by step how we exercise our right in the covenant of grace to create.
1.     Get born again. See Jn.3:3-3, 16; 1Pet.1:23
2.     Grow up spiritually so that you can become spiritually mature enough to conceive and give birth to spiritual seeds also known as fruits. See 1Cor.2:13-15.
3.     When you are spiritual, it will show in the fruit of the spirit you bear. See Gal.5:22-23; Eph.5:9 and 1Tim.4:13-16.
4.     The spirit of God will then plant seeds of the visions of God in your spirit. You can receive this seed by the inward witness and then relate it to your soul through your thoughts. At this point you are said to have conceived an idea. This is what the Holy Spirit was doing in Genesis chapter 1 when He hovered over the dark waters. As soon as He released the idea, the father spoke them out and the Son immediately went into action to make it happen. This explains Col.1:16-13; Jn.1:3 and Hab.2:1-3.
5.     When you receive the word, it will show in two ways, you will embrace the totality of the word of God with the understanding that the Holy Ghost gives; not picking and choosing what to obey and not to obey. Nothing in this kingdom works without obedience to the word of God which is why doing the word of God cannot be compromised. The second way it will show is that you will speak and do the word only. Jos.1:8; Ps.1:1-3; Mt.7:24-27 and Jas.1:21-25.
6.     As you do the word, God keeps watering you with His guidance to enable you cultivate his seed in you to perfection. This is a growth process that will place a huge demand on your patience and time. However, if you give it what it takes, you will stand out in your generation. Posterity will celebrate the fact that you were ever born and will be grateful for your input into their lives. [Rm.8:14; Ps.32:8; Jos.1:8; Jn.15:9 & Eph.3:17]. Every invention that has ever blessed humanity came from God; the use to which people choose to put it notwithstanding. For example, the airplane idea and creation came from God; it was even prophesied by Isaiah in Isa.60:8 where He was talking about God’s people arising and shining. It was also prophesied by John in Rev.12:14. The bulk of inventions we have today, came through believers or offspring of believers some of who are not even saved.
7.     Your soul receives through your mind and your mind processes it through meditation until your emotions receive the idea and powers your actions causing you to make choices in line with the seed and as you continue to act along that line based on the word consistently, you will birth the invention and the rest would be progress all the way. Please understand that the emotions are the manifestation of the joy of the Lord which Nehemiah refers to as our strength. [Neh.8:10]
On this note, I believe that anyone who wants to exercise their creative ability now has a road map with which to start working and as you follow God this way, He would bless your efforts and make you a celebrity with eternal impact.
Meanwhile someone is here who is yet to take the new birth step; believe me, you cannot create anything of worth before God that way. If you want to make the necessary adjustment, you can do so right away by saying the sinner’s prayer below out loud in faith and you will be able to commence your destiny journey:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Understanding the nature of the word of God pt.2

Messages for January 2018: Our Month of The word of God
Message for Sunday 14th January, 2018
Theme: Exploring the Word of God
Topic: Understanding the nature of the word of God pt.2
Introduction: Last week, we established that God is the creator and that the means by which He creates are the imagination and speech. We also established that since He made man on the planet earth, He handed over the task of creating anything on earth to man. No spirit can come and create anything on earth anymore without possessing a body. What gives man authority on earth is the body; this explains why Jesus Christ had to take on a body in the incarnation to be able to take the place of man in redemption. See Heb.10:6-10; Ps.40:6-8 and Jn.5:27. Since Jesus Christ did this, authority over the earth was recovered by man however, he has to fight ignorance to actualize His place. This is why today, we are going to be looking at how man can condition himself to exercise in his office as creator under God:
Conditioning the imagination and speech for creating God’s way
Like we are taught in 1Thess.5:23; man is spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body. The spirit of man is the real man that can connect with God at new birth. It is the part of man that gets born again. When we get born again the Holy Spirit births a new spirit in us which the word of God refers to as the new creation. See 2Cor.5:17. To grow the spirit to be able to rule over the body which has always been God’s intention, we must feed it the word of God. See 1Pet.2:2.
The soul is the part of man that contains his mind will and emotions. It is responsible for his thinking, imagination with which he creates and his emotions. It is the cultivation of this aspect of man for creativity purpose with the word of God that we are concerned about today.
The body is the physical man that is tangible for all to be able to see and touch. It is the part of man responsible for his sustenance on earth. It is the part of man that gives him authority to live on earth because God conditioned the body for living on earth.
Cultivating the soul: The soul realm of man is the parent of his imagination which we are going to be looking at in depth today. The soul contains the mind which is used for thinking, the will which is used for decision making and the imagination which is responsible for dreaming and creativity. For the imagination to be conditioned to create, it has to be brought to speed with God’s standard. What is God’s standard?
1.     Man was made in the image of God so man would look like God. see Gen.1:26
2.     Man was made in the likeness of God so man has the ability to think and talk and create like God. God is a faith God so man has the ability to walk in faith. See Heb.11:1-3 – here we see that through faith, the things which are seen were created by things which are not seen. So the tangible world was made by the word of God so that tangible things were not made out of tangible things but the intangible.
3.     Man was commanded to be fruitful and multiply like God. So man has the ability to bring forth after his kind and create like God does. Gen.1:28.
4.     But man fell from his glorious place through sin and lost the ability to get things done as before because he came under the leadership of God’s arch enemy through sin and as a result his spirit lost connection with God and therefore, could no longer wield God’s power because his spirit died and could no longer supply the soul with the substance for creating God’s way.
5.     Perversion set in so that the same part of man responsible for creativity was now being put to the abnormal use of sexual perversion. Instead of creating, man began to cook up all kinds of evil like porn, witchcraft, lust, lies to further their selfish interests, lasciviousness and all the works of the flesh you can think of or hear of. See Gal.5:18-21; Col.3:8-10 and Rm.13:8-10.
Steps to conditioning your imagination to create:
1.     Reconcile to God: This is God’s passionate desire for man. He was so passionate about it that He willingly gave up His only begotten son for man’s redemption. New birth grants you access to divine nature again so that you really can become like God now. However, you become born again when the seed of the word is sown in you and you allow it to make a fruit of you through faith in the word expressed by your declaration of the Lordship of Jesus Christ over your life. See Jn.3:3-6, 16; 1Pet.1:23; 2Pet.1:4; Mt.18:11; Lk.19:10 and 2Cor.5:18-19.
2.     Develop your spirit: To do this, you have to feed on the word of God daily so that you can grow spiritually. Just as we eat natural food for our physical nourishment, we need to eat spiritual food for our spiritual nourishment so that we can mature enough spiritually to be able to wield our godly influence including creativity. The word of God is the food for our spirits. In feasting on the word of God and exercising faith in the word, there are levels of spiritual developments. You grow from feeding on the milk of the word to taking the meat of the word and then to strong meat and then to the honey of the word. At the milk stage, you are taught elementary truths of the gospel that would help you build up to be able to grow spiritually. As you exercise in the milk, you will grow to being able to take the meat of the word. When you consistently take the meat of the word over time, you would graduate to being able to take the strong meat of the word which is reserved for the mature believers. When you grow to this point, you will be able to use the word of God skillfully. This is the point when you begin to gain command as God intends and as you remain consistent, God will cause you to behold him on a daily basis and be transformed from glory to glory. See 1Pet.2:2; Heb.5:11-14 [please read this]; 1Cor.3:1-10; Eph.4:11-16; Gal.4:1-3 and 2Cor.3:18. We must therefore endeavor to grow up spiritually so that we can become and get all God wants us to be and get.
3.     Develop you soul to follow your spirit so you can be led by God’s Spirit: When we are led by the Holy Spirit, we can no longer be referred to as babies because only sons are led by the Spirit. At this point the Holy Spirit can teach us spiritual things and stir up the creative seed in us to germinate and begin to produce after God’s kind. See Rm.8:14-16; 1Cor.2:13-14; Jn.8:12; Jn.10:27 and Ps.23:1-3.
What happens when you develop your soul: Your value skyrockets and you begin to glorify God through your good works. When this is happening you are said to be shinning. Isa.60:1 predicted it and Jesus declared it in Mt.5:13-16 when He called us the salt and light of the earth and said it is by our good works that we glorify our father in heaven. Good works are the reason God made you. In fact there are good works reserved for each of us. When we develop our souls to follow our spirits, the Holy Spirit can unfold the revelation of our particular good works to us and cause us to impart it to our souls to be transmitted to our awareness. See Eph.2:10. Therefore when you develop your soul, the following things happen to you:
1.     You renew your mind so that you will no longer be carnal thinking like mere men but you will become spiritual thinking like God. See Ps.82:5-7; Rm.12:2; 8:5-8; Gal.5:18-22.
2.     You will have the power to put off sin and put on righteousness. Sin was what separated us from God in the first place and caused us to lose our creative ability. Now the ability to put it off grants us the leverage to be able to do what we could no longer do because of its presence in our lives. Righteousness is really the beauty of the new creation life. See Eph.4:22; Rm.13:12 and Col.3:8-10.
3.     Your creative ability would be activated to the point that you will never be stranded in life for want of what to do in any situation. You will be supplied the words you need to do what you ought to do every time the need arises. See Heb.13:5-6; Mt.28:18-20; Ps.32:8; Jer.33:3 and Jn.10:27-29.
4.     You will be able to bear the fruit of the spirit which is the demonstration of the character of a true believer in Christ Jesus. It takes abiding in the Lord to bear fruit for Him and his will is that we bear much fruit. There is the fruit of the spirit and the fruit of good works done spiritually without the involvement of the fleshly or carnal nature. See Jn.15:1-5; v.8 and 16; Gal.5:16-17 and 2Pet.1:4-11.
5.     It enables you to set your affections on things above as opposed to being mindful of earthly things which will take us nowhere. See Col.:3:1-3; Rm.8:5-8
We shall stop here for now, next week, we shall continue this discourse by God’s grace looking at how we can engage the imagination and sound to create God’s way. Meanwhile someone is reading this blog that is yet to take the first step above. You cannot be really creative as God desires until you are initiated into God’s family through the new birth. If you want to take advantage of this to get born again, I invite you to do so right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you will become God’s child:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. what the word is and Levels of the word

Messages for January 2018: Our Month of The word of God
Message for Wednesday 3rd January, 2018
Theme: Exploring the Word of God
Topic: what the word is and Levels of the word
Introduction: once again I welcome you to our year of divine visitation. This year you will experience the turnaround visitation of the Lord that would turn your mourning into dancing and your wilderness into a fruitful garden. This year, God will visit you like He did Sarah and make you to laugh and cause others to come and laugh with you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We shall start off today introducing this great topic by looking at what the word is and the various levels of the word of God.
What the word of God is: The Oxford dictionary defines the word as the word of God or the Bible. We can conclude here that the word is what God says which has been encapsulated in the bible and the word is God. By the second definition, we can say that the word of God is a person. The bible shows us clearly who that person is and that person is the Lord Jesus Christ. See Jn.1:1-14; Col.1:16-18; Jn.5:39 and Rev.19:9-16.
How man gained access to the word of God: After man sinned against God, people fell short of the glory of God and therefore lost access to Him. The result is that man became hopeless and without God in the world. See Eph.2:12; Rm.3:23.
In time, people began to press for more intimate relationships with God and began to hear from God and be led by Him. But it was not the same as before the fall. Over time, through divine revelation, people began to understand how to relate with God and walk in his ways. A good example from the Old Testament is Enoch who walked with God in such intimacy to the point that God took him without his having to die physically. These men were known as holy men of God. The bible which we call the word of God is a compilation of the revelation given by God to these Holy men and women and preserved for us to learn from. See
Another means by which man gained access to God is through His Son Jesus Christ who speaks to us in these last days.
Hebrews 1:1-3 says:
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
The last days began on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2:1-4 when the Church of Jesus Christ was born. Since that day, people can gain access to God through His Church because the Church is the body of Christ and whenever the Church speaks, Christ is speaking to the world because you cannot separate a person from his body. Whenever Christ is speaking, God is speaking as well. See Eph.1:22-23
In fact, the whole bible is a prophecy; that is why the apostle Peter refers to it as the more sure word of prophecy. In 2Peter 1:19, we read:
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:”
LEVELS OF THE WORD OF GOD: There are two levels of the word of God namely LOGOS (which is the written word that has been packaged as the bible. This is the first level of the word we must operate faithfully to grow to the next level of word) and RHEMA, which is the word of God spoken directly to your heart for the now. For instance, there are certain decisions you will need to make like where to work or reside that are not clearly stated in the written word. God can still speak to you about such things and all the time, the decisions He leads you to make will never contradict the principles of the written word. See 2Tim.3:16-17
So if you receive any “rhema” that contradicts the logos in principle, that word is null to the extent of its contradiction; you cannot call it a word from God indeed! Rhema refers to the word of God revealed to the individual directly by God. This word will however never contradict the written word like we have already seen. In Romans 10:17 the Bible says: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
I like the way a man of God puts this text. He says; ‘’so then faith cometh by hearing and understanding a word of God.” In other words when you hear the word of God, you come to a place of comprehension. When you can comprehend what the word is saying to you directly as an individual, taking the scripture not out of context; but in context; in the sense that whatever you understand from the scripture will not contradict any principle of scriptures; then you have come to place of having faith.
You cannot base faith on the mere letters of the word. The Bible says the letter killeth but the Spirit giveth life (2Cor.3:6). You base your faith on the revealed word of God to you and that revealed word is the rhema. So your faithfulness in following the logos (the word of God revealed to holy men of God and packaged in the Bible) would enable God entrust you with the rhema. If God does not reveal the word to you, you cannot see it [see Isa.2:1]. This is because the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God as a result of the limitations placed on him by the five senses. Our physical senses can only relate with the material world. They are ignorant of the existence of the spirit world from where God’s word originates because God is a Spirit (see 1Cor.2:13-14 & Jn.4:23-24). The good news however is that, God wants to reveal his word to you more you want to know it.
For want of time and space, we would draw the curtain here but someone is reading this that is yet to respond in faith to the gospel of salvation. If you are that person, you can choose to respond right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you will be born again:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Understanding the nature of the word of God pt.1

Messages for January 2018: Our Month of The word of God
Message for Sunday 7th January, 2018
Theme: Exploring the Word of God
Topic: Understanding the nature of the word of God pt.1
Introduction: when the Lord gave me the word for this month I immediately knew that He was setting us up for a great year. The truth is that the first step to anything worthwhile is its beginning. The beginning of any existence except God is the creation of that existence. For instance the bulk of the existence of any crisis in any life came about because they were created. In the same way no good thing can happen in a life without being created. The big question is how do we get to create all the exceeding great and precious promises God has made to us in this year of our divine visitation? My answer is that the only way we can get to know is by finding out from the best person and that person is God because He is the eternal Creator. When we learn how He creates, we can also find out from Him how to do likewise.
God is the Creator: Many of us read the book of Genesis chapter 1 and think that that was all the creation God had to do. I beg to dissent here because if that was all then we would still have been the way Adam and Eve were since the beginning and after their fall. God has not stopped creating even though now He applies an additional method called delegation to His creative work. Now let us try to understand from the creator’s manual – The Bible.
1.     In the beginning God… every kind of creation or noble invention begins with God. If the beginning of a thing has no God in it, it can best be described as a copy of the original.  All that was created as we saw in Genesis chapter 1 came about when God created them. See Gen.1:1, Col.1:16 and Jn.1:3.  From these texts, it is evident that God made all things by and for Himself.
2.     God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit: We cannot truly understand God until we know and recognize His triune nature. God is Father – He is called the father of our Lord Jesus Christ; the father of spirits; the father of whom are all things and the God with whom we have to do. See 1Cor.8:6; Heb.4:13; Heb.12:9.
God has a son in the person called Jesus Christ. In Prov.8:22 – 36 God reveals to us when He brought forth His Son. Then in Jn.1:1-14, we are made to see that His Son is the same as the Word of God and that the word became flesh. In Heb.10:4-10, we see the predestination Covenant between the father and the Son that resulted in the Son taking on flesh. Then in Jn.17:4 we see where the Son was telling the father in prayer that it was time for Him to bring to pass the restoration of the place He has with Him from the beginning now that He has fulfilled His purpose of incarnation. Finally in 1Cor.1:30, He is called the wisdom for God and in Revelation 19:13, He is called THE WORD OF GOD.
God is also Spirit: He is known also as the Holy Spirit, The Spirit of Christ, The Spirit of God; The Comforter, The promise of the Father; the Spirit of truth etc. See Jn.16:7, 13; Acts1:4 and Jn.14:26.
3.     God made man in His image and after His likeness: He also gave man the triune nature of spirit, soul and Body. In 1Thess.5:23, we are made to understand that man is a spirit just like God is a Spirit. Man has a soul and lives in a body. Just like Jesus Christ is the express image of the invisible God and showing us what God looks like; in the same way, man’s body and soul expresses who the man is and what he looks like. The soul is the realm of man that think/reasons, imagine/creates, and makes choices and feels. See Prov.23:7; Gen.11:6; Rm.12:2; Philippians 4:8.
How God Creates: To understand how God creates, we have to go to the beginning. In Gen.1:1-3, we see the entire process of creation. First God’s Spirit broods over the adverse situation of a formless and void world caused by the devastation of the war in heaven that resulted in the flood of Lucifer that covered the earth [Gen.1:3; Isa.14:12-15; Ez.28:14-19 and Isa.45:18]. After brooding over it, the Holy Spirit came up with the solution of recreating the world and placing man on earth to rule over it instead of the fallen angel. This time, he did not make man as beautiful as he made the angel that fell because he wanted to glorify Himself by bringing beauty out of the mud He used to make man. When he had decided what he wanted to bring forth, He spoke them into existence. Thus from this text, we gather that the material with which God creates are:
1.     The imagination. See Heb.11:3 and Gen.1:1-3.
2.     The spoken word.  See Ps.33:6, 9; Jn.1:1-3
This is the standard God has set for creation and man is expected to follow this pattern if he is going to create anything. This is the means for building any kind of business and inventing any product for the general good. To try to create any other way would be illegal. In fact, it is impossible. Good things are created by imagination mixed with speech and bad things are also created that way. Sadly, many people make the wrong choice in creating and instead of using their imagination to glorify God by creating God’s way, they end up scheming and losing it altogether.
When God handed over creation to man on earth, He thereby made man the only authentic source of creation on earth apart from Himself. The means by which man creates is the same that God uses. Even if God has to create anything on earth today, He would still involve man. Thus no spirit can create anything on earth without partnering with man. In Philemon 1:14 Apostle Paul demonstrated this principle when he told the disciple that he would do nothing without engaging the mind of the disciple so that the will of the disciple can be involved in what was to be done which could also be a creation:
The imagination and the spoken word. See Rm.10:8-11 and Mk.11:23.
We shall stop here today for want of time and space. Next week, we shall continue this message with the part 2 titled: Conditioning the imagination and speech for creating God’s way. Meanwhile, someone is reading this blog who does not yet know the Lord Jesus Christ in experience even though He died to set you free to become all you were destined by God to become. This is a very opportune time for you to make the choice of eternal life because that is the only way to overcome the trials of the times we are in. If you want to become victorious, you can take the first step right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you will become born again and initiated into the family of God and blessed with the right to create:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name! Amen.
