Welcome to January 2015: Our Month of Glory

As we celebrate another new entry into another year of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, tagged OUR YEAR OF DIVINE ESTABLISHMENTS; let me use this opportunity to welcome you and share with you what the Lord has told me about this month. In 1Cor.15:41, we are told:
“There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.”
Also, in Isaiah 43:7, we are told:
“Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.”
When we put these two scriptures together, we would understand that every one of us is unique in our glory or manifestations of our hidden abilities put there by God. The reason God puts these abilities in us is quite clear from our second text and that is for us to glorify Him. We are actually created, formed and made for the glory of God. If we go back to Genesis 1:26-28, we would see that God created man’s spirit and then in Genesis 2:7, He formed man’s body from the dust of the ground and over time, He makes men into what He wants them to become to the extent that man yields to him. This explains why, when He called His first disciples, Jesus Christ promised to make them fishers of men. The process by which He actualized this was through discipleship.
When the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished His mission on earth, He said these words to the father in his famous prayer in John 17:4:
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.”

Also, in his letter to the Church at Ephesus, Apostle Paul by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, told the Church in Ephesians 4:11-16 that the Lord gave us ministry gifts of men in the body of Christ set in offices like the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. The purpose of these gifts is to help build up the saints so that we can all come to full maturity as each one adds value or unleash their potential for the general edification of the body so that together we can grow up to become the bride that Jesus is going to return for. As he puts it in Ephesians 5:26-27, a Church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing but that it should be holy and without any blemish.
Before we list the points raised above, let us first understand that glory simply means praise or honour given to somebody or something because they have achieved something special. Again, it means praise and worship of God. It also means great beauty, and a special cause for pride, respect and honour.
When we put together out dictionary definition with the scripture analysis above, we would understand as follows:
1.     Glory is God’s desire for each of us. This is why Jesus Christ was able to endure the Cross. In Hebrews 12:2, we are told that he endured all he suffered at the Cross because of the glory to come and we have seen it above that the glory is a bride without wrinkle, spot and blemish but beautified with holiness.
2.     God actually made us to bring Him glory and this happens as we unleash out hidden abilities to become productive and bear spiritual, mental and physical fruits that would result in honor for us and Him.
3.     As God’s product, his name is at stake when we do not perform optimally. This is why He not only created us; He formed us and is responsible for making us.
4.     When Jesus finished His work, He said he had brought God glory by finishing the work God gave to him. In the same way, we must understand that after we are saved, we must find out the particular good work God has worked out for us to enter into as shown in Ephesians 2:10 and then depend on the Holy Spirit to help us do it. As we are faithful in doing it, we would end up bringing glory to God.
5.     When we make it our life mission to glorify God, we would fulfill our divine purpose and be glorified by God in return.
6.     Finally, to enable us fulfill our God given purpose, we must take full advantage of the fivefold ministry gifts in the body of Christ. However, before we can do this, we must understand what they are, why they are and how we can benefit from each ministry gift.

In light of these truths, this month we shall be looking at the fivefold ministry gifts and how we can take full advantage of them to attain to our maximum potential for the fulfillment of God’s purpose to glorify him.
As the year commences, this is a good time to make the greatest resolution of your life if you are yet to do so. That is to accept the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ for your Salvation and respond to His love by receiving Him as your Lord and Saviour. If you want to do so now, please say the following prayer out loud to God meaning it with all your heart and the Holy Spirit will take you up from there.
Father in Heaven,
I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Your word says in John 6:37 that you will not cast me out when I come to you. So I thank you that you will take me in.
You also said in Romans 10:9-10 that if I shall confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and shall believe in my heart that you raised him from the dead, I shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe that he died for my sin on Calvary’s Cross and was raised from the dead for my justification and I confess him now as my Saviour and Lord.
I believe that I have now become your righteousness in Christ whom you made to be sin for me on Calvary’s Cross.
Thank you father that I am saved from this day in Jesus’s name!
If you just said this prayer, congratulations! Welcome to the family of God. Please send me an email at flourishinggirl@gmail.com.  This will enable me send you an e-copy of our “Believers’ Guide to Growth” to help you start out well on your spiritual journey.

WELCOME TO THE YEAR 2015 OUR YEAR OF DIVINE ESTABLISHMENTS

The two key words here are DIVINE and ESTABLISHEMENTS. Divine has to do with that which originates from God. In other words, God’s plan for us in 2015 is to establish us. Establishments on the other hand is the noun of the word establish which for our divine purpose means to make stable or firm, to set in a place and make it stable there; to settle; to confirm. You would observe that establishment is in plural and this implies that the establishment God is bringing us to is complete as it would happen in every area of our lives and not some areas alone. In other words, this year, God has purposed to settle us spiritually, in our souls and bodies. Where foundations were wrong, the Lord would help us remove them and lay the right foundations so that we can build on immovable foundations for if the foundations be destroyed, we can do nothing.
In 1Peter 5:10, we are told:
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
Also, in the book of Ezekiel, 36:11, we see this prophecy:
“And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.”

From the above sure word of prophecy, it is evident that God does not want us to labour for nothing. We have been working hard and it is time for God to reward our hard work with His establishments. All the sacrifices we have made for a better future, all the labours we have invested in improving every area of our lives etc, have not gone unnoticed by the Lord. This is why in our first text scripture, we are told that after we have suffered a while, the Lord would perfect us, establish, strengthen and settle us.
How is He going to do this? From the prophecy in Ezekiel quoted above, we are told that He will increase us numerically as a team, He would cause us to manifest His productivity in all we are and do and then He will settle us as He originally intended before many of us went astray. Now that we are returned to him, He will cause us to do better than at our beginnings. His intention is that we would recognize His leadership over our lives. This is awesome!
Sincerely, were it not for the rebellion of man, God would not really need to prove many things to us; we would naturally know them.
However, the natural man cannot receive that things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness to him neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. Therefore, if we must get the best of what God is set to do in our lives this year, spirituality cannot be compromised. The reason is that the prerequisites for divine establishments are faith and righteousness.

In the book of Isaiah 7:9, we are told that if we do not believe, we would not be established. So we must first believe that it is God’s purpose to establish us this year and then we must act out our faith by mixing it with the actions required of us. The bible says in Hebrews 4:2 that the word sent to them did not profit them not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. When we believe, we enter into God’s rest and are established like the man described in Psalm 112:7. We must also understand that we cannot please God without faith. See Heb.11:6.

The second prerequisite for divine establishment is righteousness. There is the imputed righteousness we receive at new birth which is the first step to divine establishments [2Cor.5:21, Rm.6:23]. However, the proof of our repentance is in our obedience to God afterwards. In John 14:23, Jesus said:
“If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”
From this text, it is evident that the proof that we have entered into the works that God has prepared for us from the foundation of the earth as revealed in Ephesians 2:10 is our consistent obedience to God’s command because of our affection for him in return for His affection for us. See Prov.12:3 & Isa.54:14.

When these two requirements of faith and righteousness are met, then nothing can stop our divine establishments in the year 2015. To help us attain to God’s standard, we shall be learning from His word about his kind of faith and how to exercise dominion over sin so that our righteous living would be a practical one.

Once again, I welcome you to 2015: Our year of Divine Establishments; God will establish you in every area of your life in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!!!

Welcome to the month of December; Our Month of Praise

As the year 2014; our year of fruitfulness and abundance comes to a head, it is a good time to recount the goodness of the Lord and to respond with praise because the bible says in Psalm 92:1-2 that it is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to the name of the Most High; to tell of His loving kindness in the morning and His faithfulness every night.
The morning of this year was about eleven months ago and we entered this year with great expectations and gratitude for the previous year. The Lord gave us a word for fruitfulness and abundance for this year and so far He has been faithful to His promise. He has lifted us beyond our wildest dreams and opened unimaginable doors to us. He has quenched out thirsts in many ways and wiped away many of our secret tears. He has opened doors of greatness for us that no man can shut. I could go on and on about His faithfulness; but time and space cannot accommodate my testimonies. Nations and hearts have opened to God through our testimonies and we have seen His good hand reflected in the productivity and abundance of grace and joy we have enjoyed.
With all these said, this month we want to respond to the Lord with PRAISE. It is indeed our month of praise. This month, we shall not only seek to understand praise better, we shall demonstrate it to our one and only Most High God and the Treasure we would always seek now and forever; the all wise God at whose beckoning the heavens and earth present themselves. The great I AM and our ever present help in time of need; we love you now and always. You will forever be the all wise, all knowing, awesome God and lover of our Hearts.

Welcome to September: Our Month of Plenty

“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.” Joel 2:21-27
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” 2Cor.9:8

As you travel from nation to nation, you would observe one common thread weaving through all the nations of the world and that is the fact that these are perilous times indeed. This situation presents in wars, violence, terrorism, economic hardships and the like. About four years ago, I was led to take the gospel to another nation. When I got to that nation, the currency of that nation competed so well with the USD then that it posed a little challenge to me financially. However, recently, I employed a staff there and placed him on an income that I calculated against my national currency and I discovered that in a period of less than nine months, their currency which was almost at par with mine, had dropped by about one hundred and thirty percent. I could immediately recognize an economic hazard and decided to pay the staff in my local currency instead to enable him match up to the inflation that follows things of this nature.

The gist of what I am talking about here is that the harsh conditions of the world in these times are real; however, the good news is that the plan of God for us now is even more real. This explains why the Lord has sent this word to us in this season. The truth is that in spite of all that is going on around us, God is saying we shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and bless the name of the Lord our God who has dealt wondrously with us and we shall not be ashamed. The reason for this is that God has the ability to make abundant provision available to us in spite of contrary circumstances. When Elijah declared a three and a half year famine against Israel for their idolatry in 1Kings 17, he was excluded from the harsh conditions by divine provision. In the same way, God has excluded us from the economic hardship of the present times by sending us this word of abundance.  This is why the month of September has been prophetically given to us by God as our month of plenty. The word plenty means full or adequate supply; enough to spare; sufficiency, abundant productiveness of the earth; ample supply of human wants; abundance etc. It also means a full supply, as much as necessary, a large amount or extent etc.
Someone is reading this article now and asking how this can be when they are actually experiencing the biting effects of the harsh conditions on earth. I must quickly let you understand that whereas God has put in place every resource required for this word to be fulfilled in our lives, plenty is governed by laws. If these laws are obeyed, you will experience the word otherwise, it would be a mere story to you. One truth about laws is that they are effective whether we know of them and act on them or not. This is why it is said that ignorance of the law is no excuse. If you know the laws governing plenty and apply them in your life, you shall not lack; the present global economic crises notwithstanding. On the other hand, whether you know the laws or not, if you do not apply them, you will lack. This is how laws work.
To this end, this month, we shall be looking at the laws regulating provision so that the keys to unlocking the plenty that God is telling us about this season would be delivered to us and as we engage those keys in our individual lives, plenty would attend to us.
In summation, I must quickly say here that the catalyst that makes these laws work is acquaintance with God. In Job 22:21-28, we are made to understand that we must first reconcile with God from our sinful ways and then embrace a covenant walk with God for us to pray to be heard by God and then as we walk in obedience to Him, we shall be enlightened and be enriched with plenty and even begin to reign with him as we can now make decrees that would be established and enjoy constant divine guidance. If you are yet to make this acquaintance, you are only a prayer away from doing so; you can do so now by saying the prayer below and you will become born again and be entitled to access to the keys that can unlock plenty to you beginning from now:
HEAVENLY FATHER,
HAVE MERCY ON ME A SINNER. I BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR ME ON CALVARY’S CROSS AND THAT YOU RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD FOR MY JUSTIFICATION. I HEREBY DECLARE JESUS CHRIST TO BE THE SAVIOUR AND LORD OF MY LIFE FROM THIS DAY ON AND FOREVER. THANK YOU FATHER FOR HEARING ME AND INCLUDING MY NAME IN THE LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!
AMEN!!!

Welcome To the month of August: Our Month of Unspeakable Joy

“That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:” 1Peter1:7-8
Last week was dark in the history of time following the mishaps recorded from two plane crashes; not to talk of the disaster recorded from the crash of 17th of July. While I grieve with the affected parties, I wish to let everyone know, that in the midst of all these trials befalling the world, we have comfort and safety in Christ based on what the God who cannot lie tells us in His word – The Bible – see Titus 1:2; John 15:11 & 16:33.
While I am not a bearer of evil tidings, I want to point out here that the times we are in are perilous times as prophesied by the Lord and His first Apostles. However, He tells us that when we shall see these things, we should look up and take solace in the fact that these things signal the time of our redemption. Also, Apostle Paul makes us understand that these evils are signals that our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. [See Luk.21:25-28; Rom.13:11]. In other words, I want you to understand that as many as would take the time to stay in the Lord’s presence to learn from Him in these times would receive inside information from the eternal throne room that the end is near and this would cause us to break forth in unspeakable joy full of glory as Apostle Peter describes it. A close look at our text scripture and John 16:33 show us that joy and peace which put together, define: “unspeakable joy full of glory” are not experienced based on external circumstances but on inside information gleaned from the Holy Spirit. I must quickly distinguish joy from happiness here. Whereas happiness is defined as an agreeable feeling or condition of the soul arising from good fortune or propitious happening of any kind etc.; joy on the other hand, is passion or emotion excited by the expectation of good. I believe that this definition of joy is what describes what Jesus was saying in John 15:11 that He was giving His disciples heavenly information to enable them experience joy in their expectation of its fulfillment. This truth is what makes joy an evidence of faith in the heart in the midst of challenging circumstances.
The truth is that until we can clearly hear the voice of God and be led by His Holy Spirit, unspeakable joy is not guaranteed in these times. This month of unspeakable joy is therefore a month when we have to take the time to learn and practice the art of hearing God’s voice. This would keep us in tune with what would guarantee our unspeakable joy for the rest of our sojourn on earth. To this end, this month, we shall be looking at a series titled: CONDITIONING YOURSELF TO BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
However, if you stumbled on this article and you do not have a living experience of God indwelling you, you can start today by saying the following prayer inviting Jesus Christ to be the Lord of your life and you will be born again into the family of God:
Heavenly Father, have mercy on me a sinner, but today, I repent of my sin and declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day because I believe He died for my sin on Calvary’s Cross and on the third day, you raised Him from the dead for my justification. Please wipe my name from the book of death and enter it into the book of life in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Amen!!!

Welcome to July Our Month of Unlimited Favour

As we are ushered in to the second half of this year of Fruitfulness and Abundance – 2014, we are most grateful to God for all He has been to and done for us in the first half of this year. He has indeed crowned this first half of the year for us with His goodness when He declared this month of July to be our month of unlimited favour. This is indeed a big blessing to cap the month of the blessing for us.
Favour can be defined as showing preference for someone or something over others. Unlimited on the other hand means not limited or restricted in terms of number, quantity or extent. Thus this month of July, God has chosen to bless us with favour that is not restricted in any way. I call this boundless favour. This becomes even more interesting when we realize that favour is a gift of God and that no man or woman can truly enjoy favour without receiving it of the Lord. In Exodus 3:21, God promised to give the children of Israel favour in the sight of their slave masters so that they would not leave Egypt without means. He kept this promise in Exodus 11:3 and 12:36 where we are told that God gave them favour with the Egyptians and that this made the Egyptians give them whatever they requested of them to go with on their journey.
About Joseph, we are told in Genesis 39:21, that the Lord was with Joseph and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
The early Church in Acts 2:47 was said to have had favour with all the people and therefore, the Lord was able to increase them on a daily basis.
Mary was said to be highly favored and therefore became the natural mother of the Lord Jesus Christ without the involvement of a man and Joseph went ahead to marry her in spite of her seemingly “questionable circumstance”. I consider this kind of favour unlimited.
From the foregoing, it is evident that favour is a gift from God and this month God has chosen to give us that gift without limit because He would bless whom He wills. Secondly, when God is with you, it shows in the favour you enjoy with Him and with people. Thirdly, without favour, no matter how skillful you are, your skill will never yield any return on your investment as you will be hidden from your helpers. This is why the children of Israel labored for 400 years and skilfully built two store cities for the Egyptians and yet had nothing to show for their effort until God showed up and gave them favour.
This month, I see God giving boundless favour to every one of us who desires it to bring about the miracles of abundance, love, joy etc. as may be required in each life in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. In light of the above, this month, we shall be looking at what favour means, the source of favour and what we can do to appropriate the favour of God.
While we are at this, I want to quickly say that the greatest favour we need is the escape from damnation brought upon mankind by the disobedience of Adam in the Garden of Eden when He sinned against God and brought the entire human race under the curse which includes disfavor. But God has solved this problem by sending His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sin and bring us redemption. This grace can be actualized by embracing Jesus Christ as our savior and Lord. If you are yet to make this choice you can do so right now by saying this prayer out loud to God and believing it with all your heart:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. I believe that Jesus died for my sin on Calvary’s Cross. Therefore, I repent of my sin and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for receiving me into your family and entering my name into the Lamb’s book of life in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen!
If you just said this prayer, Congratulations, you are now a member of the family of God and a citizen of the kingdom of heaven. See John 1:12, Eph.2:19 and Col.1:13. You are therefore entitled to all THE BLESSING in the Old and New Testament parts of the Bible including the blessing of unlimited favour.

WELCOME TO JUNE 2014: OUR MONTH OF THE BLESSING

Deu.28:1-14, Gal.3:13-14 and Proverbs 10:22
We rejoice with you as you made it to the beginning of the end of the first half of the year 2014 and want to say congratulations! We are still in our year of Fruitfulness and Abundance as the Lord told us at the end of last year. From the beginning of this year up till now, God has been so faithful to us that we had to dedicate the entire last month to giving Him thanks. As we round off the first half of this year, the Lord has overwhelmed us again with another prophetic direction characteristic of His goodness and mercy. June is to us our month of THE BLESSING. Let me say a few things here about the blessing:
There is either of two forces on earth controlling the situation and circumstances of man and these two forces are THE BLESSING and THE CURSE. In Deuteronomy 28, the bible makes us understand what can be identified as THE BLESSING in a person’s life and also, what can be identified as THE CURSE. This chapter of the bible also shows us the conditions we must fulfil to enjoy the blessing or suffer the curse. The good news here is that the demands of God for THE BLESSING are not beyond our reach. What is needed for the blessing can be summarized in cultivating a healthy relationship with God. We are told in Galatians 3:13-14 that Christ by His sacrifice has redeemed us from the curse which came on us all through the sin of Adam and multiplied to mankind through personal disobedience born out of the sin nature we inherited from Adam. Thus the main condition we need to fulfill now is to receive the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for us and become eligible for the blessing. Then we move on to the next level of cultivating a healthy relationship with God by abiding in the Lord Jesus Christ and letting His word abide in us. Then we shall know the truth of our redemptive heritage which has the power to release the blessing of God on us and keep us curse free indeed. See John 15; John 8:31-36.
The beauty of the blessing of God is that it has the power to:
·        Free us from the influence of the darkness of ignorance where Satan rules and keep us in the light of Knowledge where Jesus Christ is King – see Col.1:13.
·        Make us rich without any sorrow added – see Proverbs 10:22
·        Enforce the word that God wants us whole with nothing broken and nothing missing as well as healthy spirit, soul and body. 3John 1:2
·        Destroy any curse operating in our lives when we meet the condition of true repentance and many other good things too numerous to mention. When we read the bible, we will find them out for ourselves. See Gal.3:13-14
In light of this, this month, we are going to be looking at the demands of the blessing so that we can fulfill our role in faith to enjoy what Christ died to give to us. I must quickly say here that the foundation for all we are going to be saying concerning the blessing is that you receive the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for you by saying the prayer below; if you have not done so yet, as this is the only means of access to THE BLESSING that can destroy any curse.
You are therefore entitled to all THE BLESSING in the Old and New Testament parts of the Bible.

Tuesday 1 April 2014

Welcome to the month of April 2014: Our Month of GRACE!!!

By the word of the Lord to us; this month has been declared our month of Grace! The Lord spoke to us through two texts of scriptures showing us two aspects of the grace of God. The first is Titus 2:11-14 and the second is Hebrews 12:28. I quote these scriptures here:
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:11-14
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:” Heb.12:28
From the above texts, it is clear that grace:
1.       Brings salvation.
2.       Teaches godliness.
3.       Redeem us from iniquity and make us passionate about doing the right things/good works.
4.       Causes us to hope for the soon return of the Lord
5.       And that the proof of having the grace of God is that we would serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
The root word “Charis” from which the word grace originates means both divine favour and the supernatural ability to be and do what we cannot be and do naturally. In the book of Romans 7, Apostle Paul laments that the things he desires to do, elude him because as much as he wanted to do what was right, the wrong was always there in his flesh to weaken his efforts bringing him to the subjection of sin in his flesh. He however concludes in Romans 8:1 that there is no more condemnation for us who are in Christ Jesus when we walk after the Spirit and not according to the dictates of the flesh.  From our texts above, it is evident that it takes grace to serve God acceptably, it takes grace to live godly and it also takes grace to live with eternity in view.
The good news is that this grace is available to us today as our first text reveals to us that the Grace of God has appeared to all men. The vessel of grace is the Lord Jesus Christ and salvation from sin and ungodliness is only made possible by faith in the Lord’s death and resurrection. Access to God to obtain this grace is only made possible through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ shed for us on Calvary’s Cross.
In light of the foregoing, we now have access to God; we can live His life on earth and hope for His soon return all by His grace. In addition to all these and more, we have His authorization to extend this grace to the lost so as to save them from the wrath to come in the final judgment of sin and all who refuse to embrace this grace for whatever reason. To this end, this month, our focus shall be on implementing the greatest instruction given to us by God which is to win the lost to Christ and disciple them until He returns. This baton was handed down to us by the previous generation of saints and we owe our generation and posterity the debt of passing this truth down to the next generation. This is the only way we can keep this hope alive until the soon return of the Lord.
We have seen over time and from the word that nothing brings us blessing as much as obeying the commandment of the great commission to make disciples of all nations. For instance, the Lord said in John 4:35-36 that anyone who reaps receives wages and gathers fruit unto eternal life. This is one service in God’s kingdom that guarantees that we are paid by God and God’s payment cuts across all spheres of human existence. He said in Exodus 23:25-26 that when we serve Him, He shall bless our bread and water and remove sickness from us and protect us from miscarriages and barrenness. So here we see both material provision and provision that surpass material blessings packaged together as wages for service in the kingdom of God. There is no greater benefit than that given by God. This is why I believe that the greatest wisdom statements ever made with regards to provision was that made by the Lord in Matthew 6:33. Until the kingdom of God is successfully brought to the heart of men through evangelism and discipleship programs, man would never know true peace and security. So God rewards anyone who would take the challenge to be instrumental in restoring His kingdom to the heart of men.
This month we shall learn about how to engage in this great end time harvest of the lost into the kingdom of God and engage in it with all our hearts. In the event you are reading this and you are not yet saved and want to be saved, you can join us by saying the prayer below and follow up on your salvation by writing to us to let us know you got saved through this means so we can send you resources that will help you become established in faith and also become instrumental in God’s hands in bringing others who need this unspeakable gift of God to the world.
Heavenly father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ died for me on Calvary’s Cross and confess with my mouth that He is my savior and Lord. Please wipe my name from the book of death and enter it into the book of life in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you father for answering in Jesus’ name!

WELCOME TO MARCH OUR MONTH OF PERFECTION

Eph.4:11-15: “And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: that we henceforth be not more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and the cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:”
Psalm 138:8: “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me…”
Recently, one of our Church members was telling me a ridiculous story of a “Church” she used to attend where they were told that the way to subdue the devil was to take up physical canes and weep him. Also, when you look around today, you find so many believers praying that the demons afflicting them should fall down and die! These are just a few of the unscriptural practices you find in the body of Christ that gives me a lot of concern. In the first place, you cannot subdue the devil with physical canes because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. Secondly, spirits do not die! They are eternal beings. All these truths are in the bible which these baby believers carry around without reading or if they read, do not understand. Unfortunately, many who pedal and believe these lies are not even believers but humans seeking solution to their personal problems from places where they cannot find it.
The reason for this state of affairs if that many are not recognizing and taking advantage of God’s gift of the fivefold ministry offices of the apostle, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. God set these ministry gifts in the Church to help us grow up to be able to do the work of the ministry. Contrary to what many in the body of Christ believe, ministry is not restricted to these fivefold ministry gifts or full time Levitical work; it is an all-encompassing lifestyle of the believer intended to prepare the world for the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I have always believed that it is not good enough to complain about a situation without doing anything about it. The word of the Lord to us this month has therefore provided us with the opportunity to make our contribution to solve this problem. To this end, this month, we shall be looking at the fivefold ministry in the body of Christ and the role each of them is expected to play to help perfect or cause us to mature in Christ to enable us arise and fulfill the ministry or our destinies as assigned to us by God. The office of the Apostle for instance is not in the title but in the work of planting Churches or setting up similar institutions as appointed by God. Their ministry is usually accompanied with genuine signs and wonders and mighty works and the vessels remain humble before God.
Also, from our second text scripture for the month, it is clear that the perfecting or maturing of the saint could only be made possible with cooperating with God and this is why Apostle Paul said in Philippians 2:13 that it is God who works in us to will and to do of his own good pleasure. This is why we cannot attain to spiritual maturity without God’s Spirit guiding us. However, to get His guidance, we need to renew our minds with His word because without that we would never agree with God as the Bible says in 1Cor.2:14 that the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness unto him. Thus this month, we shall also learn how to renew our minds to follow the dictates of our spirits which are controlled by the Holy Spirit to the end that each of us would be able to discern the voice of God and hear directly from Him.
It is my heart felt prayer that this month, you will grow up spiritually to the point of being led by the spirit of God so you do not fall prey to spiritual charlatans in Jesus’ name!
For God to lead you however you must belong to His family and if you are interested in hearing from God directly so He can lead you, the first step is that you must be born again into the family of God. If you want to do so, you can do it right away by saying the prayer below out loud:

Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name!
Amen.

Four Simple Steps to Consciously Hear the Voice of God always

In the time which we live in, the need to hear the voice of God in order to be guided by Him in our daily lives cannot be over emphasized. This is why it is so important for us to hear his voice. Sadly, many hear without realizing it because Jesus said in John 10:27 that His sheep hear His voice. Also, we see from Ps.32:8 where God said He will instruct and teach us in the way we must go that it is God’s will to cause us to hear His voice.
In light of the foregoing, we shall examine four simple steps we must take to consciously receive the voice of God. These four steps are set out in Hab.2:1-3. That text reads thus in the King James Version of the bible:
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it;
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely come, it will not tarry”
1.     Stillness: This is keeping still before God with absolute concentration and a determination to receive a revelation of your God given purpose from God or any other thing you may desire to know of the mind of God. A good example of this is found in the story of Elijah in 1Kings 19:9-21 in the Old Testament and Paul in the New Testament. Acts 9:1-20.
2.     Vision:  When God speaks, it paints a picture in the canvass of your mind. Where you have difficulty with comprehending this, God could even use something you can see physically to give you a vision because God works with what we can envision. This is the good use of the power of imagination God talks about in Gen.11:6. For example, God had to make Abram look at the sky to see and attempt to count the number of the stars in the sky until he lost count just to help him get a vision of how numerous his offspring will be even though he was said to be childless at that time and his wife Sarai was pronounced barren. See Gen.15:1-6.
3.     Spontaneity: The still voice of God that is not physically audible comes to you through a chain of spontaneous thoughts. You have no control over the thoughts. They just flow and when God is through with Speaking, they stop. There is no thought original with man. Thoughts are taken. This explains why Jesus said in Mat.6:25, 34 that we should not take thoughts that result in anxiety. These thoughts are words that are conveyed to the spirit of man which must first be picked by the soul. The spirit realm controls the physical one. This is why Paul says in Rm.8:14, 16 that as many as are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God. That the Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the sons of God. See 1Thessalonians 5:23 which makes us understand that man is spirit, soul and body. Your spirit is the real you made in the image and likeness of God and which departure from your body causes physical death as revealed to us in James 2:26. Your soul is the intermediary between your spirit and body and contains your mind (seat of memory and creativity), your will (seat of decision making), and your emotion (responsible for the direction of your will and general drive in life). Your body is the physical you made up of the five senses of the central nervous system – sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. Whereas your body controlled by your physical senses had dictated the way you have lived as a natural man because of the separation of your spirit from God’s through the fall of Adam, now that you are born again, you have to retrain your body to follow the dictates of your spirit which is now led by the Holy Spirit as we saw earlier. This is the real battle of the new creation man. The only way we can win this war is to allow the word of God renew our minds to have the mindset God wants us to have. When this takes place, our wills and emotions would easily follow divine directives and cause our bodies to act accordingly. See Romans 12:1-2.
4.     Journaling: Then you move on to the next step which is journaling. If you try to understand everything God is telling you at the moment, you will lose concentration and may not be able to receive everything God is telling you so you journal for the duration of the flow of thought and later, you can read through what you journaled and you will get the true picture of what God is telling you. This is how the ancient prophets kept records of what they were told (see 2Tim.3:16-17; 2Pet.1:19-21). God exemplified this when He gave Moses the law he wrote on tables of stone and to tell you how important this was to God, when Moses in his anger at the behavior of the Israelites destroyed the tablets, God called him up to the mountain again and made him get two other tablets of stone and He wrote the same commandments on these new tablets of stone. You will find this account in Ex.24:12; 31:18; 34:4. Moses recalled these incidents in his final speech to the children of Israel packaged in Deut.5:22. I believe that the importance of journaling what God tells you cannot be overemphasized. This is why God commands us to write the vision and make it plain on tables so someone can read it and run with it. If what God told the ancient prophets in the past was not journaled, Peter would not have had a more sure word of Prophecy to refer to in 2Pet.1:19. For example, Jeremiah the prophet wrote down what God told him and more than seventy years later, Daniel read it and ran with it. It enabled him to pray for the freedom of the children of Israel from captivity. You will find these accounts in Jer.36 and Daniel 9:1-4. Even when in Jeremiah’s life time, the king tried to destroy the writings of Jerimiah, God caused him to preserve it by telling him to write another which Jeremiah did. See Jer.361-4 and 27-32.
A word from the Lord on the 1st day of April 2011 when I taught this message in a seminar in Hohoe, Volta region, Ghana.
A new day has dawned for you because you have obeyed me in spite of all odds I will cause my voice to be heard in all the nations of the world through what we have done here tonight. Remember that through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down who smote with a rod. I am your God and there is no one who put their confidence in me who shall be disappointed. I do not relate by the ways of men for my ways are higher and my thoughts are higher. I will be exalted in the earth I will be exalted among the heathen because of the trumpet I shall sound by you in a short while. This is my mind for all my own.”
The Sinner's prayer
You may have stumbled on this and you are not born again yet. This steps pertain to only those who are born again but the good news is that you can be born again now by saying the following prayer out loud meaning it with all your heart and God would immediately kick you off on this journey of being led by His Spirit.

Welcome to February 2014: Our Month of Good Success

“This book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
An examination of our text scripture for the month would immediately reveal to us that qualifying success with the adjective: “good” implies that Success cannot be viewed as positive all the time because good success implies that there is a bad one. Our text also shows us that good success is founded on the truth we know, meditate on and live by. The Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:17 defined truth as the word of God. When our text scripture was written, the word of God was known as “the book of the Law”! This explains why God told Joshua here that as long as he built his life on “this book of the Law”, he would have good success.
On the other hand, bad success is based on falsehood and it cannot stand the test of time not to talk of measuring up in eternity. Such acts of success can best be described as a smoke that would soon disappear or a flower that would soon fade away. A good example of this is the successful coveting of Bathsheba; Uriah’s wife by King David and the clever elimination of Uriah to cover up their infidelity. This proved to become the “but” in David’s life because what he did could not be hidden from the eyes of the all-seeing God. The result is that God judged him and told him the sword shall never depart from his house. Shortly after this, his reproach began to speak as his first son raped his daughter and another son of his killed his first son in vengeance and after this attempted a coup d’état to dethrone him and take his place until he was killed! Really, bad success is the decorated word for abysmal failure! Believe me, this is not the kind of success you want. See 2 Samuel Chapters 11-18. That you successfully dupe a person or an institution of their hard earned money through fraud or obtaining under false pretense does not make you successful even if it enables you to live in luxury for a season. The truth is that you would soon be found out no matter how tight your security is and how committed you are to the cult that empowers you. Any day a saint rises up in prayer against you, you will quickly come to the rude shock that your cult is not as powerful as it pretends to be. You will be cut off in the midst of your days and would prove to be a fool in the end. See Jeremiah 17:11; Proverbs 13:11!
This is why God is telling us that we can have good success and it would begin to show this month as we lay the foundation for it. In 2Timothy 2:19, the Apostle Paul pointed out that the foundation of God’s word rests on godliness: a departure from iniquity. When we make the truth our life style, good success is sure for us. Thus this month, our mission is to unfold the mystery of skillfully using the word of God so that we can maximize the benefit of good success available to us in the truth which is the word of God. Let me close by saying that good success can be defined as releasing and maximizing your potential for your benefit and that of others including your posterity. In some cases; it comes with a lot of money depending on the purpose for which you were created. However, it will never come with lack and want so your needs would always be met. See Psalm 1:1-6; Deu.28:1-15; Exod.23:25-26; Philippians 4:19; Lk.22:35; Acts 4:34.

This month, you shall flow in such light from the word of God that your good success cannot be denied you in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
If you want to walk in Good success and you are not sure of where you stand with God, you can make sure right away by saying the prayer below out loud and believing:
THE SINNER’S PRAYER
“Heavenly father, I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe in my hearth the Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died for me on Calvary’s cross and on the third day, you raised Him from the dead for my justification. Therefore I ask; Jesus, please come into my life and be my Saviour and Lord. I reject and renounce the fatherhood of Satan from now on and forever, Amen!”

WELCOME TO 2014 OUR YEAR OF FRUITFULNESS AND ABUNDANCE

The year 2014 has been prophetically declared our year of FRUITFULNESS AND ABUNDANCE. God’s will for us is that we bear much fruit – see John 15:8. Jesus Christ also came that we might have life in abundance – John 10:10.
This is the summary of the will of God for us in the year 2014 but whether you will find this truth expressed in your life or not, depends on your ability to understand and engage vision and planning. You must see what God is saying to us from His perspective and you must prove that you believe it by planning for it. Vision is the capacity to see the unseen and mission is to start planning for and acting on it. If you have vision without a matching mission, you will end up as a mere day dreamer with nothing to show for your claims. I believe God that that would not be your story in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For our Church, I see us growing numerically in our discipleship strength. This is not out of place because God gave me a very plausible example when in Gen.25:21-24, He referred to the unborn twins of Rebekah as TWO NATIONS! I personally see each one here today as a continental leader. As we grow in our leadership ability, we will get there In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
You are ordained to bear fruit in abundance – see John 15:16; Jesus chose each of us to bear fruit. Consequently, I consider 2014 a year when we would fulfill destiny because our destiny is to produce after our kind. You will find this truth in the original plan of God for man in Gen.1:26, 28. For the single in our midst, I see you getting married in 2014 and I see God giving you children of your own. For the married I see you all multiplying in value in 2014.
Please understand that this is an eagle assembly; Eagles do not flock and this entails you can no longer move with pigeons; they do not soar and cannot see like the eagle, if you hang out with them, you will lose your identity as an eagle and therefore lose your vision. You will be the same person you are today even in five years’ time except for two things; the books you read and the people company you keep. If you just became a part of this Assembly, I want to congratulate you because you have been set up to succeed by God.

Note that every word of God to you is prophetic, creative and has the ability to produce fruits. God’s word to you this year will transform your entire life and make you a world reformer. God’s word to you today will change your life forever. You will never lack what to know to get to the next level of your destiny as long as you remain connected to the Lord in your fellowship life and giving especially that which belongs to the Lord – the tithe!
