Enforcing victory by our Testimonies

Messages for October 2016: Our Month of Victory
Message for Sunday the 23rd of October 2016
Theme: Understanding the Power of Gratitude and Praise in receiving and sustaining our victory
Topic: Enforcing Victory by our Testimonies
2Cor.2:14; 1Tim.6:12; Acts 4; 2Sam.17; Dan.3; Isa.43:2 and Acts 6:7 & 19:18-20
Introduction: So far, we have seen that life on earth is saddled with warfare at every turn. The reason for this warfare is the enemy called the devil who wants to rob us of the best of God through carnality because the warfare is really a war between the spirit man and the natural man.  We later established that we have been made victorious through the Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary. We also established that a major weapon of victory we can engage is the weapon of praise and gratitude to God. The means by which we engage this tool is testimonies.
We are either testifying to the goodness of God or His acts. In the former case, we testify of who He is while in the latter case we testify of what He has done. What brings victory to us when we testify is that God is encouraged to repeat the same in our lives or in the lives of others who believe us. This way, the word of God keeps increasing resulting in the increase of His disciples.
Bible example of people who enforced victory by their testimonies:
1. David in 2Sam.17
2. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in Daniel 3 and Isa.43:2
3. Peter and John in Acts 4
Today, we have so many testifiers in the house. As we testify today, God will arise on our behalf.
If you are reading this and find what we are saying strange, it may be because you are yet to make a decision for the Lord. The good news is that you are not far from the kingdom. You can come in right away by saying the following prayer out loud in faith and you shall be saved:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name!
Amen.
